B.NEWS : Junior Malanda died in car crash

Wolfsburg's Junior Malanda has died in a car crash, according to Bild. Shocking.

This Junior Malanda was catapulted from the back seat of the car. According to police, he was killed instantly.
He wanted to fly evening by 20 clock with his teammates training camp in South Africa today. But the meeting point of the team he has not been reached.

The Touareg landed on the roof. The two other passengers were seriously injured and were hospitalized.
The police confirmed to Bild am Sonntag: "It is assumed that unadjusted pace was cause of the accident. It ruled violent wind and aquaplaning. The Toureg was confiscated, experts evaluate the accident tracks. "

I just checked BILD. They write Junior Malanda (20) was a passenger in a VW Touareg that got into an accident at the A2 near Porta Westfalica at 15:35 GMT+1. It seems the car drove too fast for the strong winds and heavy rain, and thus the driver lost control, flew over the crash barrier and crashed into a tree. The driver and another passenger sustained grave injuries, while Junior Malanda was killed.

Sounds like he fell victim to the absolute crazy rain storm weather that befell northern Germany today

The latter part is all that matters, really. You can drive safely in rain, but you cannot be safe without seatbelt.
