Re: Milan Junior Camp News
What is it with these Italians and taking their shorts off when celebrating?
Re: Milan Junior Camp News
Stroppa was the coach who oversaw our youth's Scudetto winning campaign and he gets sacked. I think there were some disagreements with the hierarchy because otherwise it does not make any sense

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
ANDREA DE VITO has attracted the interest of three Italian clubs.
Milan youngsters continue to be linked with an exit and after the likes of Alexander Merkel and Giacomo Beretta – who both signed for Genoa on co-ownership – Andrea De Vito could leave the club in the summer.
De Vito had two great seasons with the Rossoneri Primavera team and was even given the Captain armband for the entire 2010/2011 campaign following the departure of Simone Romagnoli on loan to U.S. Foggia.
Serie B sides F.C. Crotone (finished 11th last season) and Vicenza Calcio (finished 12th last season) have shown interest in the 19-year-old left-back as well as Lega Pro Prima Divisione side U.S. Foggia.
De Vito had his debut under Leonardo last year in the Coppa Italia against Novara.

MILANO - Milan's Youth Team lost 3-1 to Atalanta in the Dossena Trophy to close out their group with one point and exit the tournament dedicated to Doctor Angelo Dossena where team from all round the world have been competing.
"It was the third match in three days, it certainly wasn't easy as it was very hot as well. We are at the end of the year and it is normal to be tired but Atalanta played well. I don't know if this is the new make-up of the youth team, it was a different group of lads compared to the Berretti so it is up to the club to decide," said coach Carmine Nunziata after the match.

I'm hoping that De Vito will be sent to Novara, with one of Albertazzi and Ely accompanying him, with the other acting as a possible back-up to the first team in an injury crisis or in Coppa games. Given his age I'd think Albertazzi would be more likely to depart, I just hope he gets sent to a team where he can actually make a leap in quality with a brave coach, not some struggling Serie B or Lega Pro team.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
MILAN - Rossoneri left-back Didac Vilà will play for Spain against Belarus this evening in the semi-final of the European Under-21 championship. He has played the full ninety minutes in each of the three group games against England, Czech Republic and Ukraine.
Had a very poor opening game but his next two were much better. I will make sure to watch the final to see ho he goes.
Re: Milan Junior Camp News
DIDAC VILA' REACHES THE FINAL WITH SPAIN UNDER-21
Didac Vilà is playing a starring role for Spain Under-21 in
Denmark. The Milan fullback started for the fourth consecutive match in
the Under-21 European Championships as his country qualified for the
final after an emotional semi-final against Belarus.
Spain were trailing 1-0 until the final two minutes, when Vilà’s team
found a late equaliser, to then go on and win 3-1 after extra time.
Their opponents in the final on Saturday at 8.45pm in Aarhus are
Switzerland, who defeated Czech Republic 1-0, again after extra time.

Villa after a nightmare start is doing pretty good for Spain. There is a reason why Spaniards say that he is the heir of Capdevilla.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
MICHELANGELO ALBERTAZZI is now a Getafe player.
The young Italian defender has said goodbye to Milan as he goes on in his career, moving to a top flight Spanish side Getafe CF on loan, it has been confirmed on Wednesday on the Azulones’ official site.
“A.C. Milan football player, Michelangelo Albertazzi, arrives on loan at Getafe CF, SAD for one season,” the statement, on the website of the club that finished 16th in the 2010/2011 season for La Liga, reads.
The center back, who can also play as left-back, has played a star role in his years with the Rossoneri’s Primavera, establishing himself also as a regular on the Under 19 and 20 of the Italian national team.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
wow, albertazzi has been sent on loan to getafe.
this comes very surprising to me and i do not know what to think of this deal as of yet. sure, he wouldnt get much, if any, playing time if he stayed with us coming season, but i wouldve rather seen him join another italian side instead of sending him to spain...
so, thats two of our defenders on loan in spain now. im sure didac will make an impact at espanyol, but lets hope that albertazzi can adjust quickly to spanish football and make enough appearances......

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
It's progress for Albertazzi and if he's good enough he'll be able to secure the game time he needs. He likes to roam with the ball which should please his coach, however we'll see how well he deals with a higher line, it will hopefully be good training for him as a player if he adapts well. I probably would have opted for an Italian team, however Getafe were obviously the most interested, so hopefully this is the best pathway for Albertazzi.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
Getafe have announced the signing of AC Milan defender Michelangelo Albertazzi on a season-loan move.
The Italian youngster arrives at Getafe to help fill the void created by the departures of Marcano and Mario, who moved to Olympiakos and Betis, respectively, earlier in the summer.
Albertazzi, 20, has been a regular member in Milan's youth ranks, having featured in 26 matches last season, scoring two goals.
The Italy under-20 international is looking to get games under his belt before having a shot at first-team football at the Serie A champions.
Getafe have not stated whether they have secured a buying option for Albertazzi, who will be presented at the Spanish club during the course of next week.
Good move. Hopefully he'll get some good amount of playing time.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
SIMONE VERDI, Ferdinando Coppola and Nnamdi Oduamadi are now Torino players.
Serie B side Torino F.C. have announced on the signings of three AC Milan players: Simone Verdi (18), Ferdinando Coppola (33) and Nnamdi Oduamadi (20) through their official website last night.
Verdi has played a big role in Milan’s Primavera team in the past years, earning himself the nickname “Verdinho”, for his Brazilian style of player. He was also given chances in the first team during pre-season.
“Torino Football Club announces that it has acquired on co-ownership basis AC Milan player Simone Verdi,” a statements on the Toro’s official site reads. But Milan also take one of Torino’s players.
“Torino has also sold to AC Milan, on co-ownership, player Gianmario Comi,” the statement continues. Comi is a 19-year-old center forward (height – 1.87m) who has played for Torino’s Primavera lately.
After a loan spell at Siena in which he protected the goal of Siena for 40 games, Coppola returned to Milan, and now he’s set to leave again, on loan, to Turin. A statement regarding this player states:
“Torino F.C announces that it has acquired on a temporary basis from Milan the player Ferdinando Coppola.”
Odu was given a few chances during last year’s pre-season and even had his Milan debut under Coach Massimiliano Allegri but eventually returned to the Primavera squad. Now he goes to try his luck in Serie B.
“Torino Football Club announces that it has acquired on a temporary basis with an option for a co-ownership agreement player Nnamdi Oduamadi from AC Milan.” The Nigerian is a forward.

Strasser might also be heading to Torino. It's pretty obvious that Galliani is sending our young talents to the Granata to get Ogbonna.
