Well if reports are true, Calvano would be finishing up a co-own deal with Genoa
But yeah, too bad about Fossati
He's probably my favourite Primavera player of the lot

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
The first training session in Pinzolo took place this morning under the supervision of Aldo Dolcetti, the new Rossoneri youth team coach talks about the start of a new adventure.
Coach, the season has started with some bad news but in general, what are your first impressions?
“Very positive. The whole group is ready to get started on this new adventure with both enthusiasm and desire. The season hasn’t started in the best way with the passing of Giovanni but we got here in Pinzolo and before training started I made a speech to the players and the staff and we paid our respects and now we have another reason to try and do well. Regarding what happened on the pitch, it was a positive day, I saw a squad of players that wants to work and to do well.”
There’s a bit of an age difference in your squad. Is this an important mix to help all the players to grow together?
“Yes that’s true. There are a few members of last year’s Primavera team and they’ll be joined by players from Berretti’s team and another group from Coach Beggi’s title winning side. I brought a couple of 17 year olds as well and it’s all in an attempt to help the whole squad get stronger. The objective is to give a sense of continuity to the work done in the past 2 years, bring the best players into the first team, make them all better players and to keep on winning. Victory is the sign of a job well done. We have to win and to play well. The desire to do well is there, it’s clear to see but all players are judged on results. Stroppa’s two years here were much appreciated by everyone and that’s where we’ll be starting off from."

COACHING SET UP 2011-2012: ENTHUSIASM IS THE KEY!!!!!
After eight years that the Milan youngsters have been playing and which culminated last season with the Allievi Nazionali league title, the Milan school of players is preparing for next season, 2011-2012. This year there will be 10 youth teams. The Berretti won’t play anymore and the Primavera will be coached by Aldo Dolcetti, who after having been closely involved with Project Generation Milan, a development program focused on individual players, he’ll now take the reins of Milan’s second team. By his side will be vice coaches Alessandro Lazzarini and Marco Merlo. The objective, as the coach has already said, is to continue with the work already done in the last two years: bringing through players good enough to join the first team and play beautiful football. The youngest team to compete this year will be coached by Omar Danesi who, after having coached the Allievi Regionali last year will move to the Allievi Nazionali with Cesare Beggi, already a championship winning coach, who will now take care of the Allievi Regionali ’96. Coaching the Giovanissimi Nazionali, after having just missed out on the final eight last year, will be Roberto Bertuzzi. Walter De Vechhi will continue the great work he did last season with the Giovanissimi ’98. The Giovanissimi Regionali ’99 will be given to Simone Baldo. Luca Morin will coach the Debut 2000, Alessandro Lupi, the Debut 2001, whicle Giovanni Valenti and Andrea Biffi will take care of the Pulcini 2002 and 2003.

Milan ran out 4-1 winners against Padova, with two goals in either half. Comi scored twice in the first 45 minutes and Two minutes into the second half Rodrigo Ely headed home from a corner. The visitors got on the scoresheet through Zanetti midway through the half but Ganz finished off a good move for the fourth while Comi hit the post late on.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
so, no mention of verdi yet? well, im surprised that none of you commented on his performances with torinio. considering he was our best primavera player for the last 2 seasons, i wouldve thought that some of you would be interested to see how he fares in the serie b.
anyway, i was able to watch 3 matches verdi participated in (one as a sub and two as starter). hes solely been used as a right winger in a 442 formation and he did surprisingly well i thought, even being man of the match once.
hes showing a very good first touch (with both feet), great dribbling skills and good short passing. his crosses are very inconsistent though and the rare long balls he sends rarely find their targets... i think hes best when cutting inside from the wing, though he has to work on his shot....
very encouraging performances from him thus far... wouldnt be surprised if he becomes a regular during the course of the season.
cant say the same about beretta though (watched 2 matches). he didnt have a single shot so far and wasnt really involved in both matches either. and the rare times he had the ball, he immediately lost them which was mostly due to his poor first touch rather than good defending...
to his defense though, he had very little support and the balls sent into the box were quite poor... very frustrating matches for a striker and given his inexperience its quite normal he didnt have any impact...
i hope he gets a few more chances as a starter and show some of his potential....

MILAN - Full time and the Milan Primavera come out victors against Albinoleffe. The Rossoneri took the lead in the 9' thanks to Bertoni who got the better of 'keeper Chimini with a shot from distance. The lead was doubled in the 24', a cross from Comi, touched on by Innocenti and taken down and shot by Carmonia who then turned provider for Innocenti to make it 3-0 on 40'.
Milan 3-0 Albinoleffe
Time to see the same scoreline against Cesena.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
there has been reports, that Arrigo Sacchi has been advocating FIGC to allow clubs to have their B team compete on lower division.
This measure, was also supported and recommended by Demetrio Albertini few years ago. However small clubs are against it and instead wants FIGC to focus on stadiums.
