Not really. I remember him getting hat tricks against both Amsterdam and auxerre last year with a 2 goal performance with France in between over a 3 week period and he still didn't start for Madrid.

We have 2 in form strikers. It would be a huge slap in the face to Benz not to start him against his former club. Depends if mou wants to keep Benz or not.

To be fair, I'll always be a much bigger fan of France NT than Madrid. Club will never mean more to me. So when Madrid interferes with the good of France NT, I will always side with the NT. Pretty obvious actually lol.

Back then, Higgy was starter, and he wasnt injured, while Benzema was working to get his form back.

Higuain is on a roll right now, Benzema has not played in a week. Mou is going to go with the form factor.

It's competition, if he cant displace Higuain and leaves, then it's a shame for him, and so be it.

We'll see nick. Again, it comes down to whether MOu intends on trying to keep both with the club. City put aguero and dzeko on the pitch at the same time when dzeko got hot... I don't see why mou can't do it. Of course, we also have ozil, kaka and cr7.

When you have so many wc players, you need to rotate or you will have issues.

i dont think its fair for benz to lose his starting spot cause he missed 2 matches, form is an factor for higz yes, but so is the player confidence in the coach, it took di maria a lot of bad games before he lost his spot and benz been playing good as well so i dont see him getting benched yet

That's true. Still, not as good as link up play as Benz. Im not a Fanzema or anything, Higuain used to be my favourite player. Just theres something missing from his play. Hopefully Ill get over it.

I don't think you should bench Higuain.... Ride his form and may it last all year. But I do think you need to now play Benz as a SS or wing player. Give kaka a day off. Benz is more important to our future than Kaka frankly.

I agree as well, but Kaka matters in Mou plans for CL

Tbh he said this all the time we needed a 3rd striker so he can play them both without fearing one might get injured....

Well, he said he wanted a third CF, but didnt sign any, so he clearly changed his mind, because signing a CF was very easy for us.

Counting on Kaka being healthy is like hoping Rooney doesn't do something stupid at least once a year... manage him. Besides, Ozil is not playing all that well because he's pushed too wide and is not involved enough.

But i agree. Mou has a crush on Kaka and Kaka is delivering a bit now. Too many great players in the team... controversy on the horizon lol.

COntroversy will happen if there is no rotation, and mou should work a maximum on rotation now to avoid the problems later in the season

Why would Mou ever in the right mind decide on benching Higuain and starting Benzema against Lyon? It makes absolutely no sense.

There is only one option, play Benz and Higuain at the same time. Its simple. With Ozil. Kaka and Di Maria make good backups. Thing is, to do that we need a 3rd CF. Morata has not been very good, so although both strikers wouldnt play together ALL the time, we still need a backup for subs and stuff.
