Esti can cover. He is obviously more attacking and won't cover as well but our next game is Sienna. We shouldn't need a dominant LB to win.


I thought he defended well and was infinitely more reassuring than Grosso. We really do need a LB though.

Some of You guys are heavily scrutinizing De Ceglie..Barring that stupid challenge he was defensively solid and he has been throughout the entire pre-season..He could be beaten for pace at times especially when Biabiany made that mazing run but overall he's a pretty good defensive fullback..

Going forward ,what can he do when you have someone like Giacherini on the left wing who i thought was very underconfident and did nothing of note other than exchanging a few passes with the forwards..I'm sure De ceglie and Elia will complement each other pretty well..Remember Antonini and Dinho partnership ?And the amount of times Antonini venturing forward and forging a good partnership with Dinho !?I am hoping for the same with Elia and De ceglie..

He's a good crosser too for the record..Makes accurate deep crosses..Provided he keeps his fitness and motivation levels high ,he's in for a good season most definitely..

As for the next game ,yea i dont want to see Grosso..But remember Vidal playing LB for Chile at the world cup..
4-2-4 in the first half ,Vidal as left back..Second half introduce Bonucci ,change to 4-3-3 and Vidal as CM..atleast i'm hoping to see these changes..

Yeah I was happy about him coming to juve.

never being a fan of PDC but he displayed good football in the matches before his injury...maybe he can he get there again...
