log in problem Empty log in problem

last days i have problems logging in

i type the account and password, press submit and when the page refreshes im still offline
i repeat the action and yet the same

like a bug or something, the only way to fix it is with a restart and it doesnt always work

any1 facing a similar problem?


p.s. i also have some trouble with the search tool, it doesnt work sometimes / finds 0 results while they exist in reality / so i dont know if the spesific problem has been discussed before here

Could you please tell us which browser you use and which operating system? Do you allow cookies? Do you have an ad blocker and if yes which? Do you use noscript?

You might want to clear the cache of your browser and then restart it to see whether the problem persists, btw.

(Sorry I won't be able to answer now, but I have to go to sleep now - but I think with the above information, someone else might help, too.)

microsoft windows , opera and i allow cookies i have ad blocker -Opera AdBlock- and i dont use noscript

and i did what u said though i cant know if its fixed or not cause the problem doesn show each and everytime but when it does i cant login for quite a long, ill wait and see thanx in advice

Okay, if the problem appears again, please try clearing the cache then. If you like, you might want to install Firefox additionally on your system (if it isn't installed already), then you could check whether it occurs there, too. And if not, you'd have a second browser to fall back to in case of emergencies (on my system I have not only Firefox and Opera, but also Chromium, Konqueror and Links installed - better safe than sorry Very Happy)

hm i tried chrome when the problem insisted in opera but didnt work

anyway if it happens again ill do what you said Ty!

You're welcome. BTW, Chrome (and Chromium under Linux) are both known to be fickle with this forum, so Firefox is usually the most painless option. ^^
