Hmm comparing goals between a 23 yr old to a retired legend

This is why i hate saying Messi is already a legend or he will be better than Maradona, he's 23 or 24 years old ffs you cant be a legend at this age atleast wait until he's past it till you start comparing the two for crying out loud.....

You cannot compare Messi to the legends now. Let's wait until he turns 30. Maybe he can sustain it... maybe he fizzles like Dinho, R9, etc.

It's far too early to say whether he is a legend or not.

If he sustains it, all he needs to do is get Argentina to perform (not win; but a WC semifinal or dominating the games despite early exity, etc.) and he belongs without a doubt. Maybe will become the best ever.

What is certain is that he is unquestionably the best there is today.
