He was no doubt referring to the greater influence he exerts on games nowadays.
Every single season he has imposed himself on games more and more.
This season he is even more involved in play than last season.

Messi at 24, has done everything for his Club & he can still get even better.. He's not just a very gd finisher, he's a playmaker.
