Schaub out for the year, with Leinart as our starting QB. I just hope he is ready, our defense and running game have been great to where Schaub hasn't had to win games by himself but he always made throws when he had to and kept the defense honest so they couldn't stack the box against the run

why would anyone even suggest that!

Whats weird is Kubiak said Schaub will miss "some time" but I guess that was before evaluation. I am willing to give Leinart a try and hope Schaub comes back before the year is over

Yeah next game is vs Jacksonville so I think its a perfect game for him to play in

Quarterbacks coach said Leinart has been doing great absorbing the offense and working to understand it and he didn't look too bad in the preseason. It will be weird having our offense with a lefty in there.

Side note, Brooks Reed and JJ Watt have been outstanding picks so far this season

The time frame for recovery on a lisfranc injury is 6-8 weeks. He could be ready for the weekend after wildcard weekend.

And I have Schaub on my FF team, kinda sucks for me but I still have Eli. I should probably drop Schaub but there's no decent/good QB's on my waiver wire. There's Carson Palmer(I think he's the best choice), Colt McCoy, Andy Dalton, Alex Smith.

Well hopefully the Texans are still around by that time. Leinart better not mess this up!

Palmer looked pretty good last Thursday and might be finally getting back into game shape he could be doing pretty good.

If I had to guess I would say he's probably done for the season, but you never know. I guess we'll know more after he sees specialists.

Matt Barkley is playing with Robert Woods, Marqise Lee, Randall Telfer. Andrew Luck has 2 slow TE's to throw to. With that said I think Barkleys the next best QB in the draft. Robert Griffin's probably third.
