So it seems links are becoming more serious(may still just be media but not sure).

What do you think of this?

I think it's pretty dumb, we have the best left back in the world in Cole and Bertrand/Van Ananholt to back him up and is not at all a position that needs filling imo.

Of his quality and his price to warm the bench and further delay the development of our Youth like Yuri Zhirkov did? No thanks.

But it wouldn't hurt to get a decent experienced LB just in case. Alvaro's not that guy.

not bad IMO
iff malouda goes then theres your replacment and even if malouda stays, then i think Pereira will be used as a LW and matta as a mid

I'd take that swap in a considering he is 6 years Maloudas junior, I'll be happy if its that scenario in which he replaces Malouda but if hes just another addition then its pretty silly.

Depth I suppose seems like AVB doesn't trust Patrick it seems =/

Although maybe he wants to try him as a replacement for Malouda but have the extra work rate and defensive skills if he is the type of wing back I'm thinking of :?:

So instead of going for Modric the club is going for players suited to our bench. Nice. Now watch our midfield get over-run by average teams like Sunderland again.

Not ideal for sure but AVB really wants him for some reason, I do trust his judgements but mod is lookin really unlikely now I hope we have some back up targets for cm but I haven't heard squat Sad

We have changed, Mata... Romeu, Sturridge is back, McE is there and improved... its changed quite a lot IMO. Bosingwa is kinda getting back...
