Never said official.......just quoted a ESPN Journo and Portugeuse reports.
Looks as we want more friends for Suarez , also a Newcastle based Journo had an article in telegraph today stating our interest in Enrique has waned.....and now this appears which makes even more sense :cyclops:

Allllll, we get to keep an unhappy player for another year and then get to see him walk away on a free next year.
Oh joy

Should've never sold Nobby.
visited Newcastle's version of RAWK last night, and apparently Nobby's sale has really damaged the morale of the team as he was the most liked character there. Sometimes, throwing extra money or year in contract is worth it, considering the consequences and long term

Prehap's, but from what i read from NUFC journo's that is'nt really the case baring Enrique the rest seem to be really high on the morale, i think if we sold Barton aswell then i think the moral could really be affected but as it stand's i dont think there's an issue moral wise.
Definitely a transfer issue though , anyway enough of that this a Liverpool thread.

Yea, I could get excited... just like folks did over Mata, Cazorla, Baines, Cissokho, Clichy, and even (for a special, special few) Aguero. But I don't. It's just not my style.
When/if it's officially announced I'll welcome him warmly. Until then he's a Porto player and we're without a proper reliable LB.

I tried that once while moderating their section on the Goal forums (I believe it was due to them discussing who Rafa would sign after Torres)... it didn't go over very well.Art Morte wrote:RedOranje wrote:Let's wait until something's official, yea?

Re: ESPN Journo: Alvaro Pereira set to join Suarez
Well apparently Porto signed Alex Sandro from Santos, who massively impressed me last season. Superb signing IMO.
So, I think Porto are prepared for this, as they always are.
Pereira is a fine leftback, especially in attack. But I think he lacks concentration at times and makes avoidable errors. Mostly in terms of position.
Good for Pool though if it happens, certainly better then what they had recently.
Porto wont shed any tears though as I said.

Re: ESPN Journo: Alvaro Pereira set to join Suarez
Alvaro is good, but I much rather Fucile or Caceres. Fucile is a rock defensively, hard on the tackle, energetic never stops running. He deosnt go up ads much as Alvaro but he's pretty ok at attacking. ALso Fucile is equally cofterable on either wing. Caceres hardly ever attacks, but he's as fast as any fast foward fastert then most actually. Strong never gives up, a lot like Fucile just not as cofterable going up on the left and on the right is a good attacking threat. Also Caceres can play cb his orighinal position

Re: ESPN Journo: Alvaro Pereira set to join Suarez
Some wiseass has already updated Pereira's wiki page to state that on July 26th LFC confirmed Pereira's signing for €17m. I don't mind rumours, but people should leave wikipedia alone until it's on the club's official site : /

I still think these links are just a ploy to reduce the saking price of Enrique
