Re: Udinese - Arsenal 2nd Leg
There is little chance Udinese will even if it is at the Friuli.
Plus, RVP will be back along with Nasri playing.
Udinese have put up a great challenge.
Yet the chances of going through are slim to none.

Nasri may not even be at the club. In any case he's on the verge of the move so I don't think we'll play him. City have made it clear that should he become cup-tied in the Champions League, they'll look else where.
Anyway, this is a really big game for us and it is a little reassuring that we have van Persie back to help us get that away goal that, I believe, we will need on the night. With a bit of luck, we may also have Djourou and Wilshere back so we won't end up having to play Squillaci, Miquel or Song alongside Vermalen at the back.
If I were Wenger I'd go with Song and Frimpong in midfield (injuries permitting), since we struggled with their physicallity and athleticsm in the first leg.

Udinese at home are very strong ...You as a Milan fan should know this...
With Arsenal after losing to Liverpool the last day their confidence will be pretty low I'd imagine and it's hard to know how they will react..Also alot depends if Nasri will still still be at Arsenal..
I can see Udinese winning the match..But Arsenal to go through..just
2-1 Udinese,Arsenal to go through on away goals...

Re: Udinese - Arsenal 2nd Leg
Nasri will not play if his transfer to Man City is imminent. He would be cup tied.
I think Arsenal were lucky to win the first leg. After a poor showing for the Gunners at the weekend I think Udinese will win the tie, though they lack the crucial away goal.
Watch out for Di Natale! I rate him very highly along with Serie A stars Di Vaio and Ibrahimovic, in that these players can carry a team through a season, possessing the ability to create goals from nothing.

Exactly as I mentioned -even if it is at the fruili-
Frankly, I don't see the goal deficit being overturned as even if it does happen, Udinese do not possess the defense to maintain it as RVP will be back as this will make a substantial difference.
Personally, I know Wenger will be more tact in approaching the game while Guidolin, who is a very good manager, will most probably use the same approach as while Wenger will likely find a way to neutralize the threat.
But... I wouldn't be surprised by if Udinese win as Di Natale seems to be extra motivated and Dominizi will return to start.

Re: Udinese - Arsenal 2nd Leg
If Arsenal's midfield get run over like they did in the first leg and against Liverpool, then Van Persie will be a non factor. Arshavin and Walcott were absolutely dreadful the other day. The only bright spot was Frimmpong, who was doing very well distributing the ball. Unfortunately, he was sent off!
@ Lex - perhaps i should have said, "Arsenal were played off the park, yet still got the result!"

Is that the young lad who was sent off the last day ?

Dunno why so many people are prdeicting arsenal to lose even though we will progress with just a draw. Or perhaps people just don't wanna see Arsenal in the CL coz we will be hard to beat?

Most is looking for Arsenal downfall. We will win all we got to do is score a goal and its game over.

Theres just no chance Udinese are going through.
If they do, we'll make the request I will do it as I am full of conviction that is just won't happen

Re: Udinese - Arsenal 2nd Leg
I don't think anyone is belittling Arsenal's ability to win the match, but Udinese are no joke at home: weakened squad or not. Arsenal aren't gonna go in there and sweep them aside like they did with Inter all those years ago at the San Siro.
Arsenal's away record in the CL also is a cause for concern.

The fact our defence has been very good so far gives me confidence also have Walcott, RVP and Gervinho all fit.
