Thanks. Well my studies are over now as I got the PhD. I got a position as a postdoctoral research scholar. One bad thing is I won't be able to follow LA liga as good as I used to. I might get back to watching NBA though.

They are playing worse than they did under Mourinho. Compare Mourinho's last game as Madrid manager against Atletico in the CdR final last season where they lost despite hitting the post 3 times and Courtois pulling some prime Lev Yashin shit with the CL final now where they had to rely on a 93th minute corner kick equalizer to rescue the game. That's football for you.

Do you compare La Liga champions and UCL finalists Atletico with Pathetico ?

They were not Pathetico last season. It was the same team + Falcao. Actually stronger than what you faced in the CL final without Arda and Costa. The only reason they didn't keep it up in La Liga last season was Barca's inhuman 100 point run. They were ahead of you lot until the 26th matchday last season as well but gave up towards the end because Barca had already established an 11 point lead on them and didn't drop points so they didn't fight for their lives every game as they did this season when they had a genuine chance. That doesn't make them a weaker team last season.

You have rarely been impressed because hate clouded your judgement. They steamrolled Bayern and were the better team in the final. No team deserved it more than them.

They couldn't create jack until Atletico's fitness showed (it was bound to show eventually especially after the work they put in last week against Barca), and even then that had to be compounded by playing a visibly injured RB and then arguably Atletico's best player on the night, Filipe Luis getting injured and replaced by Alderweireld of all people. Let's not forget that Diego Costa and Arda Turan didn't play (no the 8 minutes doesn't count).

I'm not saying they didn't deserve it. They won the thing. They deserve it. Chelsea did in 2012 too. But if you asked me whether I was ever impressed with that Chelsea team, I'd say the same thing. How they won it I'll never figure out, and I was rarely impressed by them throughout the season. The same applies to this Madrid team.

Last season we beat you with our 2nd team man. Get over it. We hammered the best team ever Bayern, beat CL finalists Dortmund and also La Liga champions Atletico in the final. Also, just for you, we had beat Atletico twice this season 3-0 and 2-0, just before we beat you in the final without Cristiano. Laughing

Just one question. In 2013 Bayern beat you in Allianz with 4-0. In 2014, also in Allianz, an improved, called by many GL posters, the best team ever, Bayern were beaten 4-0 by Real Madrid. THAT performance didn't impress you ?
