...well you could find a better pic of a lounge maybe and we can put it in... OR you could find a pic of this mistress and beer and photoshop it onto a Barcalounge! Sounds good...btw, I expect to be somwhere on this lounge... w/ many mistresses and beers.


Also... I didn't buy the numbers. The postage was going to bring it up to 30 euros and I can buy a new one for 47 anyway. Btw... if anyone can find me one of these (Deco '06-07) online, I'd be eternally grateful, really liked that jersey.

Cant change usernames unfortuantly. I wil be honest, in theory it is possible, however we have had too many people ask and it will cause alot of hassle to allow 1 person to change it now.

And yeah, I still play ball Kizz. Play for an amateur team, the B team. Thats not to say the A team are better, its just we have too many players so we created two teams.

I was coaching in preseason however I went on holiday plus I wasnt getting tactical input on games (just pure coaching) and went back to playing.

I have argued changes in formation, but we play a 4231 (at least we was before I went on holiday) and I play one of the holding roles.

Tbf Dani... I think more than just he would like that name changed lol. Its a little confusing/annoying if you catch my drift. Obviously its not 'Lionel Messi' posting, but this name still blocks his true identity!

Nice that you were coaching, must be hard and it would be nice to manage a team too.

4-2-3-1 is quite a nice formation. Always wanted to play this one more, but in Australia there's an annoying tendency for everyone at grassroots level to play 4-4-2. I moved teams last year and the tactics really didn't suit my play. Far too direct and not enough passing etc. I'd really love to be able to play in a possession based team, I think I'd do much better, found the season very, very frustrating. On the plus side, I played most of the season as a winger (as opposed to CM, AM or FWD like normal) and I think I improved as a player, just didn't get a lot of chances to show it. Really learnt a lot from Iniesta and Messi's dribbling techniques this year as well as the way Busquets and Xavi use their bodies to protect the ball.

I get ya. Ask realgunner about it, he might do it. Its just we had previous discussions on this subject and we did agree no name changes. This case if different though. I cant get into discussion with the other admins at the moment, but if one of them were asked they could discuss this between them.



Yeah, I really enjoyed the coaching, but without full input I was somewhat frustrated at the same time. I dont think the direction we are going in is correct but I cant do anything about it.

I like 4231 also, but we have two big problems with it.

First of all, we have no defensive plan. We are exactly like Arsenal. Half the team press, half of us sit deep, some dive in, some back off..its a shambles. The team gets broken into parts all over the pitch and we look ropey against good teams. In midfield the biggest problem is, as I said, some players press, some back off, so the two holding midfielders end up standing off the opponant midfield because obviously you cant press if the people in front of you arent. The opponant midfield get time on the ball at the half way line and just play balls over the top and in between the centerback and fullbacks and we are in trouble.

4231 is a fine formation, but its not the very best for pressing in my opinion. It ends up looking very 424ish with us.

Also, we have no fullbacks with speed...its shocking. They are true garbage.

I think we should play 3 at the back because we often face teams with 2 strikers and we have lots of midfielders so it makes sense. But moving away from 442 took 2 seasons, I doubt we will ever play 3 at the back.

Anyway, good to hear about your improvement. I think I improved when this Barca side became this good because you get a better understanding of what works and what doest. This Barca team is as close to perfect as it gets and there is alot you can learn and copy.

LM don't listen to Dani, I've changed my name before, it can be done. You just gotta give some admins special favors...
