They need a formation makeover, and I think it would benefit them to let go of Forlan now if this deal goes through. They could build around the likes of Osvaldo and players like Fran Merida, and Salvio. But hey that's just my opinion.

Awesome player Osvaldo. IMO he is the best striker of la Liga outside Barça and Madrid together with Llorente and Rossi.

I don't think they should sign Falcao if they sign Osvaldo, both are kind of poachers, doesn't make much sense playing two of them. Falcao is better, but 38 is way too much for him.

I think Atletico is pursuing two tails at the same time. They want to sign one of Falcao or Osvaldo, but Falcao is the priority. They open negotiations with both camps, but they are attending Falcao first, and if it goes through, they will let the trail for Osvaldo die.

They seem close to signing Falcao now, so i dont see them going after Osvaldo, specially now that Roma is after him.
