:lol!:
anyway i sort of feel the rivals would be decided in terms of what our targets are. .considering the target is currently coming 4th then Tottenham & Arsenal are the major rivals . .so in terms of rivalry the next game for us is SUPER CRUCIAL!
Now targets can be redefined in January considering our position then. .if for example we are sitting in 2nd or 3rd then we our rival list would clearly expand to the Mancs & Chelsea. .but that is just my view

Re: Rival thread
I'm not sure what to make of Arsenal's first game.
They didn't play bad, were the better team at St James Park and without Cesc and Nasri; their squad will be reinforced.
But they didn't look super dangerous either.
Really looking forward to today's games!
Both Chelsea and ManU kicking their season off with away games, planning to have a few drinks while watching and hoping that at least one of them shall drop points...

Re: Rival thread
We play Arsenal next at the Emirates.
Arsenal plays Udinese before us for CL qualifiers I think. That could tire them out. We have a chance.

Re: Rival thread
I think this thread can be used to discuss all other PL matches not just rivals imo.

even if they are . .they are now short of two key defenders in Vidic & Reo . .i know they have very good backing in Jones & Evans but still not primary choices those two

Re: Rival thread
Ferdinand, in his current injury-prone form, isn't necessarily in United's top 2 CBs, imo.
Anyway, the red devils got a ton of own goals in their benefit last season and they started this season by winning with another one... *sigh*

Sepi overreacting?
Why worry about them? Focus on our team, our players, our aims, and our results and let what may come, come.

I don't see why not.
QPR 1-0.
Tommy Smith you pro.
On a whole new topic/team in Arsenal... they're looking like their in big trouble atm.

Well its really sad what they are going through & most likely would be going through . . i really have a lot of respect for the club & the manager . . considering all the tough times they have come out of together ! & in their day they are a joy to watch
but all this comments on sacking Arsene is a little insulting to the clubs success i feel . . really not fair
i really hope they can pull of a point next week against United would shut some of the critics . . well i know i would be cheering for them

Re: Rival thread
I think the Arsenal fans are feeling the way we felt a year ago. Not the same context though, but same sinking feeling.
