This is the first time i post in the Off-Topic thread..i don't know why i didn't before in the old forums but i guess it was because everytime i read something there it was 'Movie-related' and I'm not the right person to talk about movies with because i simply know nothing about it.
anyway I'm a student of something we call 'Giurisprudenza' which is Law..good thing is the holiday is going to start so soon, distracted by Milan? not a new thing I've been distracted by that time for my whole life Smile

and welcome back, Giancarlo Cool

Really? I'm also a law student! I'm also doing a health sciences degree at the same time. Exams coming up soon for me!

How many years in your degree?

Hopefully Milanaa will replace this incompetent Umberto Gandini at the club, we need some fresh blood next to Galliani!

Me? I studied "Computer Engineering - Hardware Branch" from 2008 to 2010,
but I dropped out of it since I understood no shit from math and/or programming and stuff.

Since then, I immediately joined the "Bizness Administration" guys and
despite the fact that my heart asked me to study Cinema, I said no to it (like always) to choose that
for now, until something better comes my way.

Who knows, maybe I got my masters at dramatic arts or even theater direction...
Like Uncle Fester always says, "We'll see...".

I was just wandering in and around the other sections, and I found a couple nice things to think about.

First of all, they are all done with the moderator issue, the only section that contains a sticky about this is none other than Milan's, and guess what? We got two threads for that matter! Hahahahahaha!

Next, I found that e.g. the Inter section has no sticky at all, while
Juventini have a dedicated sticky to their new stadium, and they've also
given GiuvitoJuve a thread of his own! That's strange.

Will you agree on something on me?
Do you agree that sticky threads are ones that cover either the most talked about issues or very unique ones.

Now, can you believe that there's a sticky in Real Madrid section that has scored not a single reply! LMAO!!! My god, I am LMAO!

The most reasonable one (definitely after us) is the Barca section, who
despite not having too many posts everyday, have installed an efficient
"News" thread, in addition to "La Masia" and the one I'm jealous of,
"Archives & Highlights", where they've stored some of their best
stuff from the last forum.

All in all I'm proud of our section, we got the most innovative names on
our stickies, and we actually very much need them, it's just that e.g.
there's no match to comment on so the Forum channel is not broadcasting
anything!

Let's keep it up, eh?

Realistically speaking, we are far behind Juventus an Real sections in
terms of number of posts, but we do make up for that with quality, real
quality posts from quality posters.

What kind of music are Milan fans into here? If this is an off topic thread... I'm just about to go out... so here is a quick post...

I know there is a music thread in the other forum... but I'm just curious to see if I have similar tastes to anyone. I mostly like latin music, but do like some pop... like Gaga... Smile

I'm undergoing an experiment to see whether wine will aid my study.

I shall get back to you on the results.

Edit: I'm being serious lol, not going overboard here.

If they break up, Pato could very well leave the club because isn't Barbara on the board now?

I'm sure Pato wouldn't leave even if they did. There are certain business matters that transcend relationships.

You should never ever ever think about mixing business with pleasure! I'm not saying he might leave but honestly it all depends how it ends. In relationships there is usually one person who gets hurt.

Post by IrasMaldinista Mon Jun 13, 2011 12:53 pm

My uncle, my mother's oldest brother, aged between 75 to 80 years old , passed away last night.

He was suffering from Liver cancer for around a year and it was always too late to do anything, even since a few months back that his children found out.

This would be the first death among my mom's siblings, which ain't pretty good.

I remember little things about him, how his stubble always hurt my face, his reputation as a hard smoking oldman, and that he always ordered pizzas for us whenever we were at his home.

He helped many brothers and even brother in laws settle in their lives and was never afraid to criticize and intervene, which bothered many, but he meant well, and that's what counts.

I just want him to be at peace, after all the stress and pain that he went through in his last years.

Anyway, my maternal uncles are down to four now, I hope this number remains intact for quite a few years.

Wow. I really don't know what to say Iras. I know how much you hate the cliches so I won't bother with the 'at least he is now out of his pain' or 'keep your chin up', but know that you do have my deepest condolences.

Death's always upsetting, however from watching my grandfather decline last year I know how the end is sometimes for the best as you may have seen during these months. Anything we say is meaningless to help someone else cope with grief because we're all so very different, but we're always here when you need to get something off your chest that you want to scream aloud but can't.
