But De Jong did him ZERO favors.

He was standing there watching it bounce, didnt move early enough to let Kompany know he was leaving it.

Bad communication from City's two more reliable players.

City didnt deserve the win anyway, only played well for a period of 20minutes.

Poor tactics, both from the start and from when they had a 2-0 lead.

Why on earth are Arsenal fans so butthurt about Clichy leaving to City? This wasn't even his fault, but they're trying so hard to pin it on him so that we feel like we played one over on City when, in fact, we didn't.

Cities biggest downfall is when they are up they sit back and try defend for the rest of the match, seen them do it too many times and they end up losing.
Aguero should of probably come on not sure why Barry was even on the bench.

He was partly to blame there no?

If he was more decisive, it at least would have given Komapny the chance to take out Nani, which I'm sure he would have considering there was 1 minute left in the game.

Not Clichy's fault. Stop being butthurt all the time. Kompany should have cleared that, not waited. Clichy backed off, but that is no reason for Kompany not to clear it. He actually made contact, but he tried to dribble or push the ball past Nani instead of just booting it away which is why Nani went through on goal.

Yeah I see that now.

I feel for Kompany. It was partly his fault, he didnt communicate and wasnt alive.

But Clichy really should of moved out of the way much faster or dealt with it himself, left the situation in limbo.

Utd are clear favourites for the league.

City better get their sh1t together because they can't play like that in the CL.

Kompany made the error but if Clichy challenges Nani for the ball then he might have knocked Nani off course and prevented him from having a clear run on goal.

Stop asking guys like Nani questions using phrases like "Is it good to lay down a marker"

I wasn't specifically talking to you, but in general a lot of the Arsenal fans act butthurt.

Watch the goal again. Kompany, even when given the chance, did NOT try to boot it. He tried to dribble past Nani...he wasn't shooting the ball there, he was trying to get around Nani and move play forward. Don't pin it on Cilchy when its not his fault. For all you know, Kompany could have told him to leave it for him.
