I'm affraid England missed their window in 2021. Easy path to the final and in hindsight a weak final opponent who showed nothing before or since that tiurnament. They also got completely outplayed by Spain in the semis.

I may be wrong, but isn't he the GL darling as well? He looked good for a brief while in the semi-finals, exploiting those half spaces and whatnot I will say, though, he did deserve his EPL Player of the Year award a million times more than Pogba did a few years back.

Celebrated this Euro even harder than 2008 for some reason.

To me I never expected this team with an unknown coach and a squad that isnt exactly elite, to storm through the Euros the way we did. Never not once in a match bar against France did I feel any fear from the opposite side.

I made my firmest prediction ever today and thankfully was wrong because quite frankly I can't even give respect to this England for they sucked. Palmer scored one of the best volleys ive seen to somehow slot it past our GK and that had me decide that boy is something special. But right after that England sitting back rather than capitalising on momentum had me laugh in fits.

Rodri coming off just had my heart drop as out of all the players it had to be him. I love Zubi but he looked like a lost lamb in there and no coincidence England begun to have an easier time to take over the midfield when it happened.

For the team to come back soon after the goal summed up the game, how calm they looked in possession be it midfielder or box for the first goal summed up how the defence was so easy to carve up like a turkey.

Fully deserved win without a doubt and completely outplayed them. Southgate yes yes results and all is a coward and somehow let a second final in a through slip through. Entire tournament individual brilliance bailed them out. Who tf even performed today for them as it is bar Palmer, Foden and their defence? No one.

Nico Williams was easily the man of the match I dont see how Lamal won it. To be honest the continual narrative "he's only 16" got old and overtook a lot and honestly he didn't do anything last night.

Arq, Nico was man of match yesterday. What Yamal won was best youth player in tournament and Rodri, best player of tournament. I too misread de la fuente, but I posted earlier he deserves praise and has improved dramatically on Enrique’s more direct tactics. I also think he is a better judge of talent than Enrique was.

Probably because he was a youth selección coach for years and knows these players well. Note, he is the second national coach that progress from youth to senior team and did well. Lopetequi! I still think that we were robbed of any success when that idiot Rubiales fired him when he signed for Madrid, with effect for after tournament, and replaced him with the incompetent (as a coach) Hierro.

Ah Im glad im corrected there because Nico was far and away our best player. Im happy with de la fuente despite my earlier doubts I had in him so this is great news for the future .

This team had no business being in semis even. Stop acting like Bellingham is Zidane and can take his NT all the way, he was ghosting again in the final.

Aside from that one 93’ goal this is a tournament to forget for him

Arq, not only in this game but several others, I think 2 in the group play. For all the raves Yamal gets (he deserves a lot of credit, particularly considering his age, I’m more impressed with Nico. He more so than Yamal, makes this direct approach work! That’s not to diminish what Rodri, Fabian, Olmo, Pedri, Laporte and the 2 laterals the contributions they make to the direct attack
