My European watch buddy cancelled on me, I'm watching the game alone, and the suspense is killing me already. Hope Pedri is gonna be okay, we're not usually a team to just take someone out. At least not in the last 30 years or so.

As for the match I hope even further we destroy Germany because for years I saw RWO and Hans and at times Viva hate on Spanish players and the teams due to their success compared to Bundesfodder so its a friday to feed off misery.

I just thought Busquets was overrated, besides that I always thought Spain was playing it too safe and boring when they were pretty much perfect under Aragones. I never underrated them, I think. Please don't go digging through my old quotes, I tend to overstate things.

So, in first 20 min it's clear Germany will be totally physical and referee will be all but blind to it. Poor Spain need to beat the German as well as their referee. Tough task ahead

That's a bit overstating it, Kroos' challenge was clearly unintentional, albeit deserving of a yellow, and Rüdiger got said yellow already.

Both teams dont convince me cos they both have weaknesses... so basically canceling each other out so far Very Happy

Sane n Can has been abysmal though... n I wonder how much long Kimmich can be asked to run up n down that flank and defend Nico like that... bring Wirtz on I still havent really watched him play much...
