Disgraceful postponement of the arsenal spurs game by the FA. If arsenal has too many injuries or Afcon players that never caused a postponement before. Good on spurs for calling it out

Yes I always noticed him on fifa career mode, he was at man city when younger, had a decently high potential

Played in MLS previously. Also, he's been around in the Leeds team. I imagine the posters here who watch Leeds here and there should be aware of him. Not that I watch Leeds often of course, but here and there

He is okay and yes, hard to miss a PL talent going to the MLS + plus he scored Leeds first goal back in the PL against us on opening matchday last year in our 4-3 win at Anfield.

Iirc, he moved to New England as a kid and played HS footy too. He made the move back to Europe at the right time

Amazing implosion by Leicester, Rodgers must be livid with his players? Although Conte really knows his stuff, he sets up his team to limit Leicesters passing options time n again n counter effectively... which Leicester failed to counter... Leicester been overachieving for so long, about time they fall off the places

It's 70th minute and Arsenal can't create any chance. don't know if Liverpool are defending too well or Arsenal are just Shite.

Liverpool have been lucky on certain occasions but they made most of what is available. Arsenal have played well compared to recent few games they had against Liverpool.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
Don't let Arsenal's position in the league deceive you. They are good scrub killers, better than any team in EPL bar City. Hence why they are so high up the table. Against top teams however they have come short consistently all season.
The season is long, if United play more consistently they will catch them. And Spurs are looking much better with Conte and also Kane on form.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
well if we are good scrub killers we deserve our position in the league, and we'll probably be in the hunt for top 4 right until the end. We beat Spurs, and we lost to United because of a stupid tackle by Odegaard. And we stood up to City like no other team has this season, in a match even Pep admitted we were the better team... sooo... yea don't know why you are trying to degrade us
not really concerned about that loss. The superior team won. Jota more clinical than any of our attackers. TAA more pinpoint accurate than any of our players. Defense much sturdier and more organised than ours.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
Very happy with our performance.
Jota man of the match even if his second goal looked offside to me but beautiful finish.
AA caused havoc on the right side and it was a huge headache for Arsenal.
Arsenal have not looked the same since the City game and have taken their foot off the pedal. They lack anyone to lead the line as Martinelli is versatile and two-footed but misused on the left I feel. With their threadbare squad without depth its a surprise they aren't worse but signs look good for them.
Partey is an idiot with the tackle and was rightfully sent off.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
0-2 Chelsea
0-5 City
3-1 Spurs
0-4 Liverpool
2-3 United
1-2 City
Arsenal have only won against Spurs, and that's when everybody and their grandmas were winning against them.
But sure let's fool ourselves and console ourselves with Pep's words to his old pal. He also said his team were tired, but let's not mention that either...

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
dude if we were beating those teams we'd be challenging for the title... nobody expects that from us with where we are atm rebuilding our squad.
2 of those losses came right at the start of the season when we were abysmal, Covid-stricken, and still without our best starting XI. Played better against United, should've beaten them, lost because of Odegaard's stupid mistake as i said. Went toe to toe with City whether you like it or not, but i guess only Pep's team can have excuses for tiredness.
I agree with Arq, we haven't reproduced that City performance since, and i think it's mostly due to our thin squad showing now. Players in and out, Covid, cancelled games, apparently we didn't train too much this week i read somewhere and that really showed in today's game. But it's not like i expect us to repeat that City performance week in, week out... we're still a young team with lots to learn... that City performance will probably go down as one of our best (if not the best) performances of the season, and we could still make top 4.

Arsenal are doing well. if you predicted top 4 finish for them few month ago everybody would laugh at you. i think they are on a good path. being at the same level as Liverpool and Chelsea takes time. let alone City.

Fight for top 4 is pretty tight, but wish everyone had played the same number of games. This games in hand business annoys me way more than it should.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
West Ham were very naive. In stoppage time they should have shut up shop and accepted the draw. Instead still going for the win. Their RB went far too forward leaving a huge hole behind him. Massive overload, them bam goal. Foolish.
