One team needs 10 chances to score 2 the other needs 4 chances to score 2.

Cancelo keeping Salah in his pocket all game. Legit evolved into one of the best fullbacks in the game.

We really miss a player like him. Damn shame.

I'm not that familiar with him, but he had a lot of low IQ moments in this game.

The handful of times i've seen him, he's legitimately been shit. Yet, he on the charts for Pool.

Curious as to how he's displaced Firmino.

I think Firmino has struggled with injury

Something tells me that after the game ended, Pep stomped into City's offices and shouted:"I don't care what it takes, get me fucking Haaland!!"

Cancelo is unbelievable. Ehh, another 2-2. This rivalry between Klopp and Pep is epic

Lets see who gets the edge in FA cup semifinal

With the way City were spamming balls over the top today Haaland really would’ve been cooking out there. Laughing

What must be annoying to Mahrez, KdB and Cancelo despite being world class crossers they have midgets in front of them. Really stupid that City are taking forever investing in a CF, Kane, Lewa, Benz would’ve feasted in this game.

City do have a CF and his name is Gabriel Jesus.

Signing Haaland wouldn't give City a 12th man, it will give them a focal point at the expense of less control in the final third. This is a trade-off that I'm not sure the coach is highly approving of. Now, someone like Kane will give City a bit more than a focal point compared to Haaland because for me he is also the best playmaking CF this sport has ever seen. Question is, do City need another playmaker or will he be strictly a CF, not coming back to combine but poaching and making runs behind the defence?

Btw City have signed Julian Alvarez who is a CF and loaned him back to River for now.

BC maybe can chime in whether he can bring something new to the team, though he's not a big guy like Kane or Haaland

I've watched him once vs Boca and once vs Ecuador. Quick, technical and hardworking. He is far closer to the Gabriel Jesus profile than the other CFs mentioned here.

Maybe I'm in the minority, as usual, but I genuinely think that Haaland has a lot of potential to turn into a very good playmaker, based on glimpses of passing technique and vision that he's shown since I started watching him. Regardless of whether or not he has any talent for it, I imagine Pep will attempt to drill him into a more Kane-like role for Man City if he ends up going there.

I'm not a big fan of the idea, as I think it would overshadow other qualities that he excels at, but I'd be surprised if Pep doesn't attempt to mold him into something that he's currently not. Then again, it might be better for the longevity of his career if he dials down on the explosiveness that he's become known for.

2-2 in 4th gear lmao, clutch performance but a bit annoying that this rivalry is turning into a "whoever is playing at home" type of rivalry.

Anyways, still in it! We move!

Thiago's foul on KDB was 2nd yellow 100%. Contact sport lol
The Fabinho tackle was deserving of an orange card,

And Sterling goal wasnt offside imo. Even if was, leaning forward shouldnt count as offside, its so stupid. Your getting punished for bad posture??

dominated?? Laughing he misjudged his header and the ball fell kindly to Liverpool. If anything that goal caught the entire City defense off-guard as it happened as soon as the 2nd half started.

if you think that's stupid go and check out Martinelli's apparent offside-ruled goal vs Brighton on Saturday Rolling Eyes they literally spent 5 minutes looking into it, and decided that it was a clear and obvious offside. I hate this league's officiating.

The clear and obvious thing needed to overturn foul decisions doesn't apply to offsides.
Offsides is offside, or not offside.

Imagine Liverpool not putting consistent good performances from many games now. Yesterday was another game where Liverpool started badly. It has been a while since Liverpool have put together a run of 5-6 games of consistent good performances, somehow we are just doing enough to win games.

taking 5 minutes to come to their decision surely does inspire confidence that the apparent offside was indeed a offside
