He does nothing all game and no one passes him the ball making him a ghost. Then suddenly he scores a goal. Great nose for attacking the box. Worth the FPL pick up against small teams.

Jota does many more things but compared to Ferran Torres but I think he he our Inzaghi as well Laughing
We used to pass him much more compared to this season's first two games but he still has two goals in 2 games in this season.

Dunno whats more hilarious the referee making a 50/50 call based on a freezeframe or Matip missing from half a foot from goal Laughing

That was little stupid from Chelsea to sit back after their goal. They could have clearly created more opportunities as we were getting exposed because of intelligent positions from Mount and Havertz.
Tuchel will turn Havertz into a brilliant WC player and England are lucky that Mount will get coached under Tuchel.

Jorginho has to be the worst player ever to win an individual award. Equivalent of Xhaka winning it if he played for Chelsea and Italy.

Not the best time to dis him. He's keeping Chelsea in the game by great ball retention.

Chelsea look like champion material. They weren't rattled by the red card at all. Sure they couldn't really attack Liverpool but they were comfortable defending all night.

Liverpool need a couple of signings. Imagine if Lukaku was on Liverpool's team, or they had a better midfielder than Elliott.

Klopp doesnt trust his squad at all. It is utter joke starting Robertson and Firmino instead of Tsmikas and Jota.
We were lucky that James decided to move his hand towards the ball otherwise it would have been 1-1 and Chelsea with 11 players for the whole second half which Chelsea should have easily won.

This is expected, Klopp demand and intensity is high, they've barely made any changes to the team and still rely on a few players who now seem to be drilled to the ground of exhaustion over the years. Liverpool needs more depth or needs to start a little rebuild.

I'm sure Coutinho money is sitting somewhere there still...

Nevertheless just saw your bench, 35m Chamberlain, 30m Thiago, 35-40m Jota, 35-40m Konate, and 60m Naby Keita, no excuses really.

yeah we signed them which years lol? you want Konate to come on to change the game? Thiago has an ass injury and can barely run.

But yes, we are essentially riding this squad down with Klopp and then its over for LFC when Klopp leaves along all these guys in 2024

What does it matter what years, my point is you did spend money, but it was poorly, Chamberlain had injury concern at Arsenal your club still spent on him, Thiago miss around 30-35% of games in his time at Bayern due to injuries and you bought him, have you seen Konate injury record? He's missed 45 games in the last 2 years Laughing you bought these guys to a coach who plays some high energy style with a lot of demand. 3 of your starting/depth options have bad injury records. I also agree with @Helmer Klopp equally hasn't utilize some of these guys where he could've offered some rest.

Bottom Line: Klopp hasn't learned anything from his Dortmund days and his last season at Liverpool. A match can be still won even of your fan favourite Firmino and another favourite Robertson do not start the games.
Fabinho, Robertson and Firmino were all off the pace for today's game. He should have gone with Hendo, Elliott and Keita for today's game. I am just hoping that at least today's game will build these guys for the whole season because anyways Klopp is not going to start anyone else.

Cant help but feel Lukaku would help Liverpool so much if they got him, they need a guy who is a presence in the box with so many crosses from the two FBs and turnovers that someone can finish into goals. Firmino and Jota obviously arent that.

Chelsea same as last season, just amazingly strong defensively. Im starting to see the strength of Jorginho since the Euros, his defensive work and ball retention is top.

Interesting though how Tuchel brings on Kovavic for Kante at HT? Would have thought the latter is better ur man down and defending?
