Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Locatelli very close.
Juve are fighting for a corner kick, they don't get it.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Would been a very entertaining match if it wasn't my team trying to come back.
Gonna be a tough stretch until Allegri figures out this squad.
The difference between Locatelli and Bentancur is crazy, needs to start every match.
Also, Chiesa disappears too much when asked to play far from goal, its been the case for the last two matches. Was our most dangerous player upfront, when moved to the RW of a 442 after Morata came on his game got muted. Kulusevski did better in this role.
We need a different stroker than Morata. Kean come ASAP please

Amazing Empoli , they played very good also last year in B under Dionisi ( the current Sassuolo manager ), Andreazzoli continues on same path because he's maestro on this
We'll see if Empoli will last unlike of past, Andreazzoli always has similar starts but then it falls

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
State of this Juve team
Regressed from last year, hulking destroyers in Danilo and Rabiot and brainless runners in McKennie and Kulusevski
I was told by Juve twitter that Dybala was the heir, though i must confess i am not sure to what exactly. 5 goals last season, benched in every big game before that.
And Kean is supposed to solve something, not sure what
Ronaldo foresaw this and dipped, insane vision by Kommander

We have become a joke like United post Fergie.
This club collapsed the moment we sacked Marotta.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Far too early to say, he is known for starting slow, we had a couple of season starting like this with him.
Reminds me of the season when Pirlo and Vidal left, Marchisio was injured, and he had to make a midfield with Pogba, Hermanes, Pereyra, Padoin, Sturaro, etc. We were midtable after like 10 matches and then won like 20 in a row and won the scudetto.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Today was a positional mess, we give easy counters on the sides and in possession we play too far from each other. Still going for long passes and crosses it lead us no where. And nervous in the final third it was obvious.
At this point i give Max the benefit of the doubt, this squad has taken bad automatisms this last year, some of them like Bentancur are so broken they can barely play football anymore. We must regain our focus which was the main quality of Juve. After 2 games it's pointless to make conclusions on Allegri since i doubt the strategy he had in mind was what we saw on the field. How we respond next match will give us a better idea.

It might be good to lose to Empoli at the start and recalibrate accordingly. Getting draws is worse than defeats, as they mask the real issues that need fixing.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Surprised that Lazio played this good with 4-3-3. Seems though Sarri is stuck in a situation as if he was in Napoli because apart from first team players, he has no reserves who can make difference if someone from first team is out.
On Juventus, equally surprised, not because of loss but never seen the team this confused. There were more solo efforts than team work, apart from Chiesa and Dybala to some extent, there are some worrying signs.
Juve still can put all pieces together because they have money than anyone else in Serie a but they have some absentee in sporting director. Marotta is a huge loss for them, while he went on to Inter to form a stunning partnership with Ausilio who i think is better than paratichi.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
So two words about a club so dear to @ BarrileteCosmico, il Torino.
The cry of despair by Juric fully represents what Torino fans think about their president
Cairo is probably the most unpopular president based on fans' sentiment ( ok Genoa fans hate Preziosi, Inter fans hate Suning now , Lazio fans don't like Lotito etc etc but Cairo was hated immediately, and there's reason for it) ,
but it's perception which is not caught on the outside. Of course, decisive role for this undeservedly positive perception ' s given from media strength of its owner's publishing empire.
Cairo is a sort of " little Berlusconi" (with due proportions of course) , I mean Cairo’s company Cairo Communication owns a controlling stake in RCS, which commissions newspapers such as Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere della Sera and Marca in Spain.
Despite his "economical empire", Torino always play mediocre leagues, few and wrong investments, Juric is a capable manager who proved to make good things at Verona with few resources but Cairo is not going to please him even about it atm.
Hellas under Juric achieved results with no good striker but they had dynamic players and thinking midfielders.
If a club wants to get by without Ambizione ,relying on Belotti goals for humble salvation well you don't sign Juric.
Iif you want to build a lasting project with limited resources (but something is better than nothing ) , Juric is a good name indeed, but you have to support it.
