Beastly defense, with Rüdiger getting better and better. Would be a good signing. Why the hell are you letting Süle go? The kid's got a bright future. Reminds me of letting Boateng go to City.

Leverkusen 5-2 Dortmund. What a dreadful performance by Dortmund. Had looked forward to seeing Reyna return from injury, but it was a match to forget.

Yeah, they've been rushing him back from injury and now he's picked up a knock. He's been predicted for a return in 2 weeks. I knew something was fishy when he returned from that lengthy injury over a month early lol

Watched the Bayern 3-2 Leipzig game... geez, Nagelsmann went for a 3-2-4-1 formation? Gnabry n Coman as WBs. Definitely entertaining attacking football but its so risky since its so open at the back. Sane finally really exciting now it looks like great to see. But it just seems a bit unbalanced n vulnerable still. League is too easy so again lets see what happens in the CL Very Happy

I was checking on some of Sancho’s stats from when he was at Dortmund and one thing I noticed is he was way over performing his expected assists (if anyone don’t know what that is look it up). It’s not just because he was playing with Haaland either, it goes all the way back to 18/19 season when he had 8 expected assists but got 14 assists. That’s almost double the amount the probability models predict he would get. It kept happening season after season https://understat.com/player/6345

Does anyone know what was going on in Dortmund to explain this? Did they put a magnet in the goal or something? It’s really weird for over-performance like that to happen for so long.
But it also partly explains why he’s dropped down.

Happens all the time at Dortmund, I don't know what happens there exactly, but they settle into certain scoring patterns where the same assists and goal scorers happen again, and again.

It's not just Sancho and Haaland now, goes back to the days of Lucas Barrios, even before Lewandowski.
