Re: Jose Mourinho Sack Watch: Roma Edition
actually @TMO the footballing gods struck him down the day he called Mr. Wenger, a way bigger revolutionary and legend than him, a "specialist in failure" on Valentine's Day of 2014, a day which is supposed to be all about spreading love

Re: Jose Mourinho Sack Watch: Roma Edition
Mourinho now has a clear path if he wants to take it.
His philosophy is not suited to league football anymore and he has refused to adapt and got left behind.
However it is very well suited to cup football, which national football practically is. He just needs to move on from clubs to national teams.
Also if Baldiola won everything until he retired, he will never reach Mourinho in my eyes. Man won CL with Porto FFS. That alone will top anything Pep ever does achieve. Also that masterclass defeating Pep's best ever team in CL... Priceless.

Winning treble with porto vs winning treble with barcelona/mancity with either generational talent or government money exceeding 2+ billion.
Grim.
Re: Jose Mourinho Sack Watch: Roma Edition
A bit easier not to be sacked given the teams Mourinhho has been given, compared to Pep. Nonsensical comparison.
Spurs
United
Roma
All three bang average squads bar small assortment of exceptions.

That's because average teams appoint average managers. Case in point

And ftr i dont even rate mourinho. That chump i lump with the hipster as both veer off in their own way.
Unbalanced football where one focuses on a narrow, short sighted path and the other who micromanages to the extreme i will always look down upon with disdain in equal measure.
