I’m all for the MLS getting better. We’ve never had a player like Leo join. And I work in Miami in the spring season and it’s not the worst place to be, let me tell you.

Makes sense since cocaine is probably the only way anyone might get him to actually run around a bit

Napoli had literally nobody. They were mid-level Serie A team without Maradonna, as their standing before and after Maradonna illustrated. PSG was a super team before Messi and will be one after he leaves.
You can't compare. What Maradonna did with the scubs he had was amazing.

Re: Lionel Messi Transfer Speculation
"Literally nobody" Â Â Napoli at the time was the highest spending team in Europe, no different than Aguero winning the first league with ManC.
That "scub" was the central midfielder they bought with Maradona. Â Â
If Messi wins titulero with never heard team like Miami, it will be bigger feat.

He is not talking about PSG, he is quite seriously talking about Inter Miami and the MLS.
The MLS, where Sebastian Giovinco looked like Johan Cruyff.

Joan Laporta: “Leo's stage here didn't end the way we all wanted. We would like the end of his career to be in the Barça shirt and being applauded, this is what I aspire. I feel co-responsible for this ending. I think we will make this aspiration a reality” #Transfers pic.twitter.com/pMBYIRU8rh

Why stop there? Might as well bring in CR7 as well. It's not like they're broke or anything

I reckon he'll go to Manchester City next year, as he seems unhappy with the way things are going at PSG.

And to add more salt to the wound, Ronaldo is included in the 30!

Is this the biggest drop in the history of the BO? Barring retirement, I don't think anyone went from winning it one year to not even making the list the next year.

Very strange list, many strikers like Vlahovic, Haller, Nunez n not Messi whos still like 10 times the footballer anyone of these guys Basically its Benzemas win than, wow, congrats already.
What time frame does the award count nowadays? I guess next yrs' will be influence mainly by the WC n also this season's trophy winners?

Re: Lionel Messi Transfer Speculation
So you mean Messi would've won if he'd been nominated? It doesn't make a difference if he's there or not because he wouldn't have won it anyway but it serves as a humiliation to the Messi fanboys. Ronaldo and his PR team can rest easy, he'll have more nominations than Messi now which is a consolation price.BarcaLearning wrote:Very strange list, many strikers like Vlahovic, Haller, Nunez n not Messi whos still like 10 times the footballer anyone of these guys Basically its Benzemas win than, wow, congrats already.

Haller had an excellent CL. Nunez did well there too. Vlahovic scores alot in Serie A and is there for the same reason Kane, Ronaldo and Son are there.

Re: Lionel Messi Transfer Speculation
Lmao Ballon d'Or has always been against Messi, they barely gave him 7 when he should've had at least 11 if it was based on actual performances. They didn't include Messi because it generates more media buzz than Benzine being outright favorite. Just for giggles, Messi guides PSG to titulero with 7,77 performance, Cronaldo takes ManU out of CL with 7,11 performance.
