€50M is a steal for a player like Verratti, hopefully he holds out till Laporta comes home and convinces him to join us Proud

However the PSG pos will probably sell him to Madrid then us.

Thats a rather big wage offer tbh

€7m NET equals roughly around £200K per week.

Dont see how PSG wont sell if he asks to leave.

Because Pogba can actually be got, Verratti can't. You'll see this by the end of the summer.

Pogba/Raiola is actually asking for Pogba to become the 2nd best paid player in the squad after Messi and earn € 12M according to various reports. Laughing

If Verratti moves, we should really try to get in there tbh. Problem is we can't get ahead of Real probably and those wages are a bit steep too.

Good point and i can see that happening tbh.People are underestimating how powerful Real Madrid are in the market.

They'll get the player as long as they have a strong desire to do so.

Thiago Silva/Marquinhos scenario doesnt apply here.More like an Ancelotti scenario where Real Madrid also ended up paying a hefty compensation.And they clearly do not have a problem overpaying even if it goes near the 3 figure mark.

It does apply because money had nothing to do with the reason Barca didn't get Thiago Silva or Marquinhos, the players even publicly said they would want to play for Barca Laughing

They still didn't budge and they won't here, delusional if you think otherwise.

As per usual, PSG will match whatever wage the player is being offered somewhere else... And Verratti will get a raise out of this.

I fully expect PSG to start making wild offers to Madrid players now in retaliation. Should be fun lol.

Real Madrid got Ancelotti pretty easily I think so yeah they pretty much get who they want outside rivals Barcelona if the player wants the move.

If Verratti is desperate for such a move it won't take too long.

Also you are acting like Barca don't usually get what they want.

Suarez, Cesc and Sanchez all ring a bell? they got them for less than they initially were quoted and their clubs turned down higher fees from other clubs because players themselves were insistant on the fact they wanted to join Barca.

But they didn't with PSG, i can't believe how naive you all are.

Carlo was going into his last year AND PSG had no intention of giving him a raise. The prince of Qatar had also promised Carlo over the winter that he would not block him if he wanted to leave.... Very different circumstances.
