Nabil Fekir transfer speculation

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has met with Lyon star Nabil Fekir ahead of a €70 million ($84m) move, according to a tweet from Canal Plus reporter Romain Collet-Gaudin.

Collet-Gaudin claims that barring anything unforeseen, the 24-year-old France international will move to Anfield ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Chelsea were also interested in Fekir, but the attacker has decided to join the Reds instead of the Blues.

Was thinking the same tbh, from what I know he always has a striker in front but everytime I've seen him he reminded me very much of Tevez. Could see Klopp use him in many roles.

Does it work like that with Mane and Salah on the wings ? At BVB he had Kuba who was a classic winger and Reus as an inside forward but still much better in the buildup than both Salah and Mane. Lewa was also a much different striker to Firmino. Think he sees Fekir more as a rotational option for the advanced mid position and the 3 guys in attack.

Why? if we exclude all the traditional forwards ( Kane, Icardi, Lewandowski etc..) that aren't compatible with CR7, you're not really left with a lot of options. hmm

Lewandowski would be very compatible with Ronaldo, it would almost be unfair how well that would work.

Hummm im not convinced about that. The lewandowski I watch nowadays isn't the same of a few years back. Maybe it's a factor of his team and coach now, but he seems a less rounded player than he was before. I don't see him dropping back like he used to and almost acting like a AM at times.

Mole I think you are stuck with that old image of his, he has embraced his inner Falcao now

We met him after the fee agreed, Contract is 120k/week 5 year deal. Can't do that from the back lad.

Regarding Fekir,

From what I've seen of him I think the negatives are: he's is very one footed, Turns into trouble and keeps the ball longer than expected.

Postives: Very strong on the ball, Excellent technical ability, World class dribbling.

Can RealMadridfan and Sportsczy tell us more?

Fekir is a very very good talent, he has a very complete offensive game. Yes he is left footed but no left footed player can use his right foot lol.

Seriously the only concerns I would have is 1) injuries, because he has struggled a lot with injuries, and 2) work rate.

As long as he is lucky with 1) and improves 2) this transfer will be a success for sure.
