Yes this season will be tighter but I don't see why we shouldn't retain the title.

I think Klopp relied on the speed Mane/Salah in the beginning and evolved to depending on precision of TAA/Robertson and added goals from midfield as his latest modification. Moving on, I think he is consciously trying to add some penetration/creativity from midfield to gain/maintain edge.

Our early fixtures are too tough to get a proper glance.

Plus Trent and Gomez have not had a preseason, I am not worried yet.

4-3 against a newly promoted side is amazing, it shows we can dig deep and win games against teams who dont give a fuck.

Origi not playing would confirm he's gone. Thiago should replace Keita's place. Hendo is injured for atleast 1 week though. I do not like Fab being a CB choice over the DM role, it's a waste.

Origi needs to play as a striker. I hope he leaves the club though, he is being stagnated at the club by not playing. Too many players for the front 3 including academy players.

is it the first time we have such a talented squad at the club. Even in Benitez area we had a great XI but never had so many players who were so good as in the current squad.

I think he is growing as a defender more and more. He seems to adopting his style a bit. Instead of reacting, reading the game properly these day. Being pro active instead of reacting and then trying to cover up with his pace. Suddenly looks very elite. But long way to go in the season still. I hope he stays fit throughout the season. I have lost hopes on Matip so we need to get Upamecano and Klopp will turn him into a monster of a defender. Van Djik is also 29 so I hope we get someone like him at the age of 21-23 so that Klopp can groom him in the long term to care of Liverpool's defence for years to come.

usually our backup keeper plays the cup games
he was still fresh off the plane for the first match against Leicester, or that's what i'd like to think
but with Arteta you never know, won't be surprised to see Leno
