Liverpool FC 2019-2020 Pre Season Thread
Lets keep the other Ifty thread LFC Season 19-20 for the competitive fixtures. I will allow Community shield posts in this one.
Less than 10 days for the season to start. The only thing I hate is that Brazil, Egypt and Senegal look nowhere close to calling in the quits.
Kent and Wilson are still here. I'd love them being on both wings with Origi upfront for the initial games.

Re: Liverpool FC 2019-2020 Pre Season Thread
June 14-July 7: Copa America
June 21-July 19: African Cup of Nations
July 11: Tranmere, Prenton Park
July 14: Bradford City, Valley Parade
July 19: Dortmund, Notre Dame
July 21: Sevilla, Boston
July 24: Sporting, New York City
July 28: Napoli, Edinburgh
July 31: Lyon, Geneva
August 4: City, Wembly
Those eight games would be a good measure of what likes of Kent, Wilson, Woodburn (did someone forget him altogether), Brewster, Shaqiri and Origi can offer. It's time the Front-Three has some cover AND competition.

Even Guinea is going to make it to the next roundThe only thing I hate is that Brazil, Egypt and Senegal look nowhere close to calling in the quits.

Well Brazil are in the final, so Firmino and Allison will miss the Community shield final unless they cut their holidays short by a week atleast.

No way. Every player is afforded a mandatory three-week holiday.Nishankly wrote:Well Brazil are in the final, so Firmino and Allison will miss the Community shield final unless they cut their holidays short by a week atleast.

Didn't they get an extra week if they won the trophy?

But I don't think Salah, Firmino and Allison will feature in the Charity Shield.

HT 3-0
Clyne, Brewster x2
Won't really talk about the senior players here
Larouci was great. Kent imposed himself really well lacking end product though. Wilson was invisible. Nathan didn't get tested but wasn't really impressed.
Brewster looks great, nice touches and 2 striker goals.
Hope Clyney stays.

Clyne, Brewster x2, Jones, Origi, Duncan
Origi's goal was exquisite. Next game Bradford on Sunday. Ill be missing that one through travel.

There was some hype about him online, but he didn't seem anything special.Larouci was great.
Yeah, he worked really hard, doing his best to get into the squad.Kent imposed himself really well...
Yeah, disappointing; thought he would surplus Kent.Wilson was invisible.

What's up y'all?
Seems like we ain't getting shit this summer, fucking sucks, we need another WC forward imo with Ox coming back like a new signing and we can compete in all competitions. But looks like we won't get any attacker this window

Just been away from the forum idk, sometimes I'm inactive for months, sometimes even for years
What do yall think tho should we splash some €€ this summer? After winning the CL, we now have the pull and €€ for almost any playa on the market, we should definitely use this golden opportunity and try to build a legacy with Klopp in the upcoming years, we need to use the pull we have this summer and bring in at least 1 world class player imo

A full three weeks would take them up until July 28 off on holiday—and with the Reds set to visit Evian for their usual training camp on the 29th, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the trio would be back for the training trip in France.

Think we've matched up well to a near full strength Dortmund team aware of the conditions. Missed the goal since my stream died, will use the GL App TM for that

FT 2-3
Comfortably beaten by a side with experience with the weather and conditions, expect better next game.

And Gomez tbh who was out for like 6 months, and Brewster who was injured as well but finally will have a chance with the first team, before he was injured, Klopp said he was a special talent
