Also there was no need for a tackle on Ibra in the first place imo. He was going nowhere.

It somehow feels as if we have not won a derby since Allegri's first season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Man of the match easily. Comes back from the virus and scores a brace and runs to his last legs to the final minute. Ive run out of superlatives for him as its so rare to see a player actually become better after the usual physical prime of a typical star and his case began in his 30s.

Literally his first game back and he does this.

Hakan finally has shown (for a while now) the talent that made me rate him so highly in Leverkusen as its obvious Zlatan enjoys playing with him quite a lot and Im quite happy with our new signings as well.

Lucucku on the other hand is just comical to watch at times and more so Conte screaming his lungs out on the sidelines was just too entertaining.

Brilliant derby. Forza Milan.

Robes been making excuses for a week so we don't troll him. Expect him to come back and say I told you so. Inter would have surely won with world beaters Ashley Young and Gagliardini on the squad.

When they showed the table after the end, I was confused for a minute about how the frack did we have 8 points from 1 victory and 2 draws, then I remembered that we destroyed Napoli. Very Happy

lol i thought this milano derby game was tomorrow T.T ; though i woke up at 65 mins to turn in the game.
good win but second half from 65 min... lol it was all inter.. and still to this day i wont understand why pioli brought krunic to have 3 men in midfield - our strength is always 4-2-3-1 with only kessie and bennacer having the freedom to do what they want and unleash pressing from our wings, and AM.

that being said really really happy with win and continuing consistency our team kinda fails to maintain a good form but this is really great to see. kjaer looked like crazy good this game and so was kessie.

wonder how hakimi vs theo duel was. and we are lucky to have ibra

hopefully we keep on this good run of form, want to see more of hauge / diaz because castillejo time and time again proves that he isn't made for our club ; calabria meantime what a transformation.

only got to see romagnoli from 65 min but omg... he keeps on struggling against inter... just a comeback from injury but i really hope romangoli gets his things in order soon.

for inter i have to say hakimi and lukaku were incredible - if not for those misses ; afterwards saw full highlights but looks like inter was all lukaku with so many opportunities and bullying our defenders... this has to stop... hopefully we get milenkovic to do that Very Happy

that red card on him was too harsh though should have been just yellow

what a good news this weekend

Sampdoria 3 - 0 Lazio
Napoli 4 - 1 Atalanta

good to see gattuso annihilating gasperini ; well deserved from Napoli and importantly this Napoli is benefitting a lot with hirving lozano's recent form. also great to see bakayoko i always liked him and wished he came to milan this summer.

i predicted napoli to finish 6th or 7th this season ( thinking they would loose kouilbaly to EPL teams ) but wow this team looks solid atm and well balanced .... bakayoko will provide that added physical steel and he has good playmaking abilities - sor Fabián Ruiz will have a bit of a stress lifted off his shoulders.

I realize that some lineups seem to be having him there (kicker's for example too, as RWB in a 3-4-3), but this does seem like a completely false description of both his position and Juve's formation to me.

Both against and with the ball, at least from what I can see in the early stages, definitively a 4 man defense with Danilo as RB.
Chiesa in a rather free attacking role on the right half of the pitch, often going wide to switch with Kulusevski.

Would call it a 4-4-1-1 with Kulusevski and Chiesa sharing the positions of right-sided attacker and roaming second striker among them. Some kind of messy 4-4-2 against the ball, Chiesa usually on the right of the anterior 4.

Think the penalty might have been BS tbh.

Also, Buffon actually getting played in 2020, not sure whether tragicomic or farcical Laughing

some insanely inept attempts at pressing going on there lmao, exhibited for example in  minute 44.
Chiesa from the right side goes up to press, individually, the Crotone CB on the ball, leaving an enormous gap on the whole right side where the ball is then played.
Betancur has to go across to help belatedly, taking up what was Chiesa's position in the 4. Crotone recycle the ball, then Betancur runs up to individually press the CB on the ball, again the whole right side open as the team doesn't shift, and Crotone have a great chance of scoring from that Laughing

Max Allegri didn't die for this tbh.

After Cuadrado comes one, switch to 3-4-3, he plays RWB, Danilo RCB, and Chiesa switches to the left of the front 3.

Let's note that this basically defensive minded change comes after a sustained period of possession and pressure by Crotone Laughing

Red card seems rather too harsh at first glance. But after a couple of slo mo replays not completely uncalled for.

No mention for ' the best midfielder of Serie A ' Kessie that had to get a red card on 56' Laughing

Anyway after 4 years (31 January 2016 , Milan - Inter 3-0, last derby won by Milan before yesterday)  and after 10 years  at home ( Inter-Milan 0-1 . Who reminds Materazzi fault on Ibrahimovic ? Identic to Kolarov yesterday ) that hadn't happened , it's ordinary  to lose a derby.

I couldn't say even to be surprised,  reads large numbers , National Teams ( Inter players played 180 minutes this week . Not made even one  regular training because of it. South American came back on Friday , with Sanchez got injured - played only 3 mins for it ... Tired players ... For example you'll have hyped Napoli match against Atalanta. But remember that Napoli players 've  rest for two weeks, no one has  gone on NTs after that Juve-Napoli situation .it influenced for that 4-1) , Covid ( M99 to write Gagliardini and not Bastoni and Skriniar, our defender starters Laughing  well, D'Ambrosio and Kolarov were terrible yesterday.  they can't play as defenders. Young is good also because it means not Perisic on pitch .  it is not excuse, it's reality. Bad luck  though, it is not because of Milan  )  ...
I was feeling this loss so it hurts a little less

Good for Milan , bad for Inter

Just busy for writing on a football forum atm tbf ,I hope you can forgive me if I've write just 13 hours after the match

How much is long the unbeaten Milan streak ?
20 matches ?

Unstoppable without the public 's pressure  , I'm serious.
not just Ibra but absence of the San Siro's pressure is helping them imo
Chances to beat the old Capello record.
