Napoli was basically wrong on all counts and tried to game the system. 0-3 and the 1 point deduction stands.
i haven't read full statement from the authority but from football italia site that Napoli had players who were tested negative to go and play but they used covid as a reason not to play despite players being available. i understand their reason also though from health perspective but local ASL only advised not refrained them to travel.
for me most importantly, if all clubs Napoli included has a pre-agreement to follow health protocol that was pre agreed with all clubs under the collaboration of the main health authority in italy and serie a comission then thats on them how to deal with the issue.
but i do understand napoli's concern or napolitan local ASL advice

Yeah I don't understand why there are international friendlies at this moment.
@Jesp no news link us to Calhanoglu, nothing on Juve's side saying that.
Those Ronaldo rumors aren't anything confirmed at this point. It was posted by goal.com. Anyway his contract is until 2022 so we'll see if there are any news of a renewal, or if he will indeed be sold this summer soon enough

FYI, Hakan Calhanoglu's contract expires in June 2021 and he will be free to arrange pre-contract agreement with clubs interested in him. So far his agent is asking Milan 6 mil / a year for 5 years and milan is only willing to go upto 4 milion plus bonuses. Apparently manutd, inter, juve are amongst interested parties with manutd looking to seal the deal is what news is saying.
He leaves ok but not for Milan lol
The only one source to say this is an unkown Italian newspaper ( Il Giorno lol who hell it is), over-garbage
I'd hope for a loan abroad because I do not think Conte stays also next year .....
oh ok ok i thought this was some minor but a well respected source. anyway, still would be funny to see Eriksen at milan. we can have some scandanavians playing for us. besides we are all but resigned to loose hakan by jan

Rejected appeal also for Roma ,3-0 against Verona
And it is for an absurd rule..
Honestly it is not good for Serie A image to see two matches lost at the table that conditionate top of the table...
Yes I know it is a right decision.. but it is ugly, very ugly

not that it is official circulation but milannews.it (who has good reputation on with good sources) that hakan is offered to rivals (whether they are interested iin him or not is a different matter) but this is to hold milan hostage to accept his demand for 6 million a year extension.
milan had offered 3.5 from current 2.5 with bonuses but is willing to go only upto 4.5 milion a year
indeed, and thing is most european countries are starting to prep for lockdown, and this is going to put even bad image on football saying oh only football gets excuses...

Personally, me not
absolutely not LOL personally i was even contemplating that he would be a better fit to Bologna because they actually held a serious talk (at the time before ibra came to milan) we were in chaos and with rangnick name on the frame it was ever so unlikely for him to arrive at one point.
imagine him at bologna , or even Napoli he was linked there too when ancelotti was still coach. this man never settles for anything other than win - at 39 he plays even better than anyone we have in the team ... like he is not running much but every move he is making is a reasonable one on box or when he drops deep .. he is playing with his head
He is going beyond all expectation
I mean he is not just good, and there was skepticism even on It (39 years, 2 years in MLS..)
He is the player who we 've admired for years
Time looks like never passed for him
Then anyway he has his faults for the tie against Hellas
Kessie is an amazing penalty kick specialist, so taking it away to him is a crime .. (I'm still angry to Lautaro for having made same with Lautaro in that decisive match against Bologna in July...)... But I feel you can forgive him

Another update :
Lazio is under investigation due to the issues concerning some of their players (immobile amongst few) who were tested negative apparently from the lab they use to report to allow them to participate the game in serie a but those same players who were deemed safe from covid19 were tested positive in UEFA's inspection during CL game and not allowed in the game. test came positive from the other lab in Rome so Lazio is under spotlight for allowing covid postive players in the game but today, lawyer argued that the test they run normally in the lab in avellino is the one liable not lazio.
--------------------------
ok i didnt know that each club can get their own third party lab to run the test for them????? i actually thought the tests that are runned are the labs approved by Serie A comission. like why dont they run the test runned by a reliable lab approved by the main health authority ....

So Napoli was lying all along funny these guys, all tough and talk until it's time to play the match
If Eriksen is leaving i doubt he would choose an italian club from a league where he didn't have success. PL clubs will submit offers for him.
(Milan not renewing Kakanoglu and replace him by Eriksen would be a great move, indeed)

Yeah the Roma one is too strict of an interpretation of the rule. Can't be contested, but its a shame. Roma didn't benefit at all from a transcription error.

Yes the Lazio situation is very sensitive. Lotito had a particularly disgusting rant about it this week.
They have to determine if the detection limits and the tests were done properly, if it was simply a mistake, or if they broke the rules to have these 3 players play. Depending on the findings the punishment there goes from a fine all the way to relegation.

Rinc Im not basing it on Goal.com as its popped up everywhere as Goal.com only reported it recently. If you or any other Juventino know please let me know as Im interested in this possible saga.
And Robes heavily disagree on Prandelli.
Post Italia his club was Galatasaray who was finished by that point (their squad) as his league performance was not too bad. Champions League was but he faced some very good teams.
For Valencia he resigned due to their notoriously bad ownership to which he could not get to any terms with along with the language barrier.
Al-Nasr no one expects to succeed in such irrelevant leagues.
Genoa is obvious as well given they are one of the worst squads and poorly run.
Yes he isn't what he was but Prandelli's Fiorentina once was one of the best playing teams at his time and lets not forget his Italia to which was stellar. Will he succeed? If his demands are met but his problem is he experiments way too much (like in Turkey) to find his accurate style. It is a risk but he has experience in Firenze anyway.

Apparently investigation on Lazio is going to die .. covid tests on Immobile and Leiva report that they were negative indeed.
Gazzetta dello Sport belongs to Urbano Cairo who is also Torino president.
Torino-Lazio finished 3-4 with some Lazio players "presumed" positives on pitch ( for example Immobile, even decisive)
For this reason Lazio fans blame Cairo to have "created" the case.

Prandelli is only in the club until the end of the season right? If i am not mistaken.
Anyway he hasn't been in Serie A for too long now, wonder how he is going to adapt, the game has changed recently from being very tactical to more open games in matches

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
looks like we are very much resigned to loose hakan. One hand i understand that he has been very good in past 6-7 months, and he deserves raise from his 2.5 million a year salary. Milan offered 3.5 million which was rejected which is fairly right from him i guess so milan is willing to offer upto 4.5 million plus bonuses. I think that is a very good salary given this climate.
Hakan is asking for 7 million atm ... dunno what he is thinking but he has lost touch with reality. 7 million ... seriously??? 10 months ago when both club and the player was in absolute worst of their times, he couldnt wait to sign for extension asking raise upto 4 million. Now he and his agent pulls 7 million asking .. thats a pretty steep asking price in very small time.
In our heydays, the only player who was on high salary was kaka with 8.5 million a year followed by pirlo at 6 million a year, and the third highest was the likes of Nesta, Seedorf at 4 million a year. and they had won everything at that point ; question is what has hakan done in his career so far to ask that much salary? to ask 7 million a year means he should be considered amongst player like de bruyne, salah, sane,
Another reason why i think we may be resigned to loose hakan is because of donnarumma. Donnarumma has been earning 6 million a year since signing up with riola in 2017 and playing hardball with then director - mirabelli. Now, obviously if donnarumma is earning 6 million a year, no player in our club will be willing to settle for 2 - 2.5 million a year. This is what it has come down to, and now since donnarumma contract expires in 2021, he is asking for a raise from his current 6 million a year to 7.5 million.
Obviously then now if hakan looks at Donnarruma he is going to say why he earns 6 million and can ask a raise while i cant and that would be hypocritical. Seriously while these players are out of touch with their asking price, i also blame our club for willing to offer raise to Donnarumma hence opening can of worms.
And this wouldn't be end, theo is earning 1.5 million a year so does bennacer, they are absolutely not going to settle for anything more than 4-5 million a year when we sit on the table to discuss extension to ward off interests from other clubs.
i dont get my club sometimes, they say oh we have to do salary caps to reduce operating costs, but we can make exception to donnarumma. wtf.. the only person who can demand salary that he is atm is only zlatan.
Romagnoli contract also expires on 2021, kessie on 2022. Romagnoli is asking atm 6 million a year from his current 3.5 million a year deal.
players are out of touch, but seriously i am concerned that club's mishandling of these salaries is going to lead to us loosing players for free.

Hakan Ive supported for years and finally he is showing what he is about after all Ive hyped him here but if he thinks he is worth such a salary he can get the fuck out. Hasn't even been a year he's been performing this way and only Zlatan is worth as such, age aside.
If we spring for Eriksen that would be a sizeable upgrade and make up for that Matri choice over Eriksen all those years ago that haunts me, to this day but I doubt we are shrewd enough for it, post Galliani.
Donnarumma has no sentimental value for me personally.
Young, Italian, Milan youth produce etc I could not care less. Has let Raiola run us the way he has for years not to mention that incident three years ago as his head is way to big for himself so far and I would not blink if he leaves.
Overinflated wages are a silent killer for clubs and more so this year than ever due to the obvious.
