He's hiding in his bunker. Like really
They even shut off the white house lights which is reserved for when a president dies. One could only hope though.

BREAKING: "If a city or state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them," Pres. Trump threatens. https://t.co/n0fWIF4N9X pic.twitter.com/TuhuCaadJE

History would refer to these actions as that not of a Democratic Republic, but of a Dictatorship.
He also evoked the 2nd Amendment (for some stupid reason) in this speech. It was created to protect the people FROM the government, not for the government's use against it's own people.

For those keeping score at home:
— Graham Brookie (@GrahamBrookie) June 1, 2020
The President refused to invoke the Defense Production Act to mobilize and save lives quickly against COVID-19.
But he didn't hesitate to invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act to deploy the military on American streets against protests.

Then, I joined a call with my fellow governors and the current president.
— Governor Gretchen Whitmer (@GovWhitmer) June 1, 2020
President Trump told governors to ‘put it down’ or we would be ‘overridden.’ He said governors should ‘dominate’ protesters, ‘or you’ll look like a bunch of jerks.’
We MUST reject this way of thinking.

Here's the audio of that remarkable call where Trump lashes out at governors and says they need to crack down on protesters. pic.twitter.com/ANSsniYItN

.@GovPritzker goes in on Trump: "The man is a racist, a misogynist, a homophobe, a xenophobe. He's got to go ... it's clear that he doesn't listen to anyone who tells him the truth ... this inflammatory rhetoric is bad for the country ... [he] knows no history." pic.twitter.com/4iVW1gcqbc

Any half decent democrat addressing the people and offering perspectives/active politics for a change would win against Trump. The media would have to come out of it arse and to stop bashing everything out of context. Both won't happen so Trump will be elected again. A sad day for the USA.

The funniest thing to me is the democrats who say "vote him out" like he's actually gonna voluntarily leave if he loses.

He really shouldn't get re-elected, but I'm not sure how these protests & riots are going to affect his popularity. It seems to be mostly very young people doing the looting and vandalism and if Trump acts tough on that, that might sway some middle-age and older voters towards him.
So far Trump's done jack shit, though.

Still not sure about this. Plenty of people are against the protests and plenty support his "LIBERATE" stance on the covid pandemic earlier.

Again, I really have to disagree with this.
Trump should be out of office now for his actions, in my opinion, and he's certainly stretched the limits to what he can do on multiple occasions.
With that being said, even during the height of the Coronavirus, he deferred to others in his office and he deferred to governors and senators. I think we should watch this space, but even now, he's not going to overrule (unconstitutionally) governors and senators and sent military into states who haven't authorized it. That would be dictatorial action, but he won't.
I'm not being an apologist for Trump here when referring to the ways that he has abused his office. However, it's pretty clear to me that Trump is institutionally under control even despite what is, right now (when you combine civil unrest with coronavirus), the height of what you could call the 2020 American crisis.
By November things will have died down a bit from where we are now. I don't have any reservations about Trump willingly leaving. And I think if he didn't, he would be kicked out in an utterly embarrassing fashion.
What I do think is scary is what BC said. Four more years of a Trump who feels that the country has approved of his actions and given him a mandate to act the way he has for four more years, or perhaps even less restrained
