The 13th pick Tyler Herro has apparently looked good in Miami's pre-season

Herro is a really skilled offensive player, i think he can be decent mid to late round pick tbh.

While we are discussing Fantasy, what time is everyone ok with?

Have you been in contact with Luca lately? He is the only one that hasn't been posting a lot lately in the forum. Rather us all be here and involved to agree upon a time in order to avoid somebody not being able to make it.

Like i said, i can PM everyone this coming Monday as a reminder to come to the thread so that we can decide on a time for the 20th

He posted here like a week ago saying he's in so I'm not too concerned.

If i have to PM him i will, but i want everyone to get involved and let me know what time they're ok with.

As of now I'm thinking of something like 8pm CET but i want everyone to tell me what they can and can't do.

Me i don't care which hour, just select something that suits everyone and i'll be there. Just need to know when you regress hours in Europe because this will affect the time lag.

I'm GMT+2 as well

I've set the draft for 8pm my time.

Which for those who are GMT +2 means that's 9pm your time and Midday in Pacific time.

just did a mock draft i feel like there's no path where i'm not going to be disappointed

first four picks are crucial in order to get some sort of balance, but eventually after those four picks you will need to find ways to fill various gaps to maintain good balance as best as possible and eventually you'll be left with at least two categories that you feel drastically unsatisfied with

Well you only need 5/4 to win, so two categories drastically unsatisfied should really be the standard.

I feel like if you have more than 7 categories that you're confident in, you must be incredibly stacked/playing with idiots. Getting a team that's good enough to win in 8 or 9 (consistently, obviously anyone can have a randomly great week/opponent has a randomly awful week) is difficult

Difficult to build a team in your mind because the first couple of rounds in the draft will impact it quite a lot. I have 2 or 3 players in mind that I might try to pick "too early" just because I like them.

and is Bradley Beal really going to go 11th?
Is Curry worth the 2nd pick when he hasn't got Klay and KD to support him?
Westbrook is ranked 15th, but he's a risky pick that high, no?
Centers Drummond, Vucevic, Turner and Ayton are ranked from 21th to 24th... Is Drummond really worth the 21st pick when he doesn't give you any threes and destroys your free throw percentage?

Curry might be worth the first pick if he can stay healthy.

His Usage rate is going to be insane, 30PPG minimum at 50-40-90 efficiency and at least 5 3s a game.

In his 2016 season, the last season before Durant he was winning people Percentage categories, 3s and sometimes points by himself.

Plus he's a high steals guy.

Although i wouldn't pay attention to Yahoo rankings too much, just use your own knowledge, last season stats and what you think they will do this season and draft accordingly.

Yahoo rankings seem mostly pretty sensible to me, there are just some oddities there. Like, I would never draft Drummond 21st (inbe4 I do that) or Mitchell Robinson 30th, like wtf?

They heavily favor blocks in their analytics i think, which is why a lot of bigs are quite high.
