GL NBA fantasy 2019/20

It‘s annoying when people get offended at trade attempts.

If you don‘t like a trade then try to counter at least? Or try to see what you need vs what the other player needs and try to meet in the middle? If you don‘t want to trade a player then simply hit refuse instead of getting all pissy.

How many trades have actually happened since the start... two? And we‘re about to veto the third as well apparently.

Trading doesn't happen too often because people overvalue their players, undervalue others, and are risk averse. I think the level of trading in our league is probably about the amount you usually see.

How many people need to vote against a trade for it to be blocked? I mean surely Mr Numptyvibes alone cannot stop it x)

I have voted against every single trade for as long as I've been here, unfortunatelly I have to admit I am powerless.

Yeah, and I'd guess most people are looking to trade their underperforming players, but their value will also be down. Like, I'd be willing to trade Markkanen if someone valued him at his last season's level, but I doubt anyone's going to do that given how bad he's been this season.

It's also not easy to find trades where you get the categories you're looking for and the other guy get's the categories they're looking for.

I think veto is majority? I can say I didn’t veto and rarely do (unless it’s vibe)

Urban I'd only want Siakam from your team for Conley. I'm fine with rebound and blocking with Drummond, Allen, Gobert, OG and Lebron.

it's not about making trades for the fun of it. The draft is the most important thing in the game, and you're supposed to have a strategy and stay faithful to the players you chose to see if your strategy plays out. Come midway into the season, if it doesn't then you can start negotiating and put some players on the trade block.

We're not even a third into the season and now you guys are complaining about trades?

Mind you, while your trade for Kawhi doesn't look as bad as CB's for Isaac, it still seems quite iffy and delusional. You basically just gave up three pointers and assists for a little bit of more steals and blocks?

Kawhi for Kemba seems like a good trade tbh

Trade talk is fun, even you shitting on our trades is more fun than what you are suggesting. If Habs wins this whole thing, it won‘t be because he got CP3. As for my trade... iffy how, sure it‘s a little risky but Kawhi is a high-risk/high-reward kind of guy. It could or could not work for either party. Absolutely not worthy of veto-ing unless we‘re not allowed to trade at all anymore.

He's mad because Vucevic + Isaac would have been a lethal combo. I understand the frustration... reminds me of last year when EL GUNNER shifted me for Nurkic

Also you guys seem to overrate my team, i have a mere 2 pts advantage in the standings. If anything Chris Paul will just enhance the numbers of my all-star PG trio, he can also cover an injury, but he is injury prone himself. Fair trade, within 3-4 months Isaac will be an established player.

you're just buttering up this whole situation deep down i know you are very happy with that trade lucky bastard, cannot believe CB fell for that. Sure, CP3 is injury prone but you do not ride on such possibilities when making a huge trade like that. With all your players fit Warrior, who's beating you in treys, points, assists and steals bro? No one. And you're also competitively good in all other categories, so you're an odds on favourite for me now mate because of CB's stupidity.

you gave up primetime, regular season stat padder Kemba for I'll give you 30% during the regular season Kawhi. The fantasy season ends in February-March not sure if you knew that

but i'll just sit back and watch you guys throw around players for fun, aight, it's cool. I absolutely have nothing against trading but when it affects the gravitiy of the league, you're goddamn sure i'll be pissed (Habs - CBucks trade, not yours and CBs).

I hope Kawhi does well for you, and avoids injury. I just decided to make a couple trades that insulates me from injury. I didn't really want to give him up this early, but I'm happy to get Kemba in return.

To be sure, Kawhi is playing like a top 5 fantasy player when he does play. He's been killing it.

Ok let me address this again. CP3, based on stats this season, gives Habs 0.5 more 3PM, 0.5 more steals, 4.6 more points. You're heavily overreacting to the difference there. There is a significant uptick in assists to the tune of 3.6 more per game (and that might increase over the season). Getting CP3 is not going to turn him into an unstoppable juggernaut.

This isn't a case of me getting Marcus Smart and giving him Kawhi or Harden...

Honestly I didn‘t know that Fantasy season ends in February-March, regular season ends in April right? And nothing when the playoffs start?

Exaggerated by EG about Kawhi (when Kawhi plays he's been one of the leagues best players, so saying he's 30% is bogus), but he is right that fantasy doesn't continue into NBA playoffs (simple reason, a lot of teams don't make it to playoffs and thus it doesn't make sense to keep playing fantasy).

If that changes your decision I would be willing to trade back Kemba
