On a cheap loan, Sterling would be an awesome signing. Would be our best forward by a comfortable margin. Pace, dribbling, can set up goals, score reasonably well. I would be super excited if we signed him.
Not a fan of signing Thiago. He is an exceptional midfielder but injury prone and old.

Sterling on a loan is a no brainer given the circumstances. Do you think he would make the team instantly better?

IMO Sterling wouldnt improve this team. We have guys of his profile, what we lack is finishers, goalscorers which Sterling is not that type.

Sterling would absolutely improve Barca. Are we going to act like Fati and Dembele aren't injury prone?

Depay plays LW too. If anything we'd need a RW. Someone like Bernardo Silva would be more appropriate

Xavi wants 1v1 wingers who hug the touchline and dribble past their man.

Sterling makes a lot of sense. True his finishing is ass but he'd be the best winger in the club.

Apperently Xavi wants to bring in Mika Mármol and Ilias Akhomach up from the B's.

YouTube shows me Marmol is a lefty CB who looks to have a really good range of passes and Akhomach a lefty dribbler who plays from the right with an eye for goal.

Never seen either, heard about Akhomach for a while now but I'm not sure he's a special talent based on the 8 minutes of highlights.

Marmol looked impressive though and for me, a left footed CB is required sooner rather than later.

Alves signing is weird and looks like Barça's plan to revive the club is nostalgia and not a bright look to the future. Laporta has said he doesn't rule out Iniesta and Messi returns either. Why? I can probably find tens of posts here
from 2015 onwards of posters here saying why Dani Alves is done and shouldn't play for Barça again, and that was when he was 5-6 years younger! Why anyone would think he can improve this squad is beyond me. Same with Iniesta and to a lesser extent, Messi.

Dani Alves being back has very little to do with what he can bring on the pitch, that much is obvious. Bringing up criticism he received in the past, really has no relevance here.

Right now we are in a similar position. With the worst injury crisis in a century. No reinforcements thanks to the piece of trash you worship running us bankrupt. We are having to play a bunch of no names from the B. Illias and Abde who were not even making Espanyol's B team.

As for beating mid table sides, lest we forget, we have been struggling against bottom sides for years now. We have been dominated by segunda sides and relegation candidates even with the piece of trash playing for us. So enough with the selective trash. You can support PSG all you want. We are better off without the piece of trash.

Both financially and soon results wise once we recover from the crippling injury crisis.
