LFC Season 2019-20

back 5 is an issue for us and seems like the new solution against us. Klopp needs to sort it out.

i dont think tactics was the problem. the problem was the passing. we didnt play the game we played the occasion

Hello fellow Kops. I don't think the draw is a bad result, but the performance certainly was bad. Where is the energy, hunger we showed for almost two seasons now? I suspect these players have very tired legs and only their passion and professionalism is carrying them (and us) through.

Hopefully Keita and AOC will regain full fitness soon and that will refresh the midfield at least. Klopp can rearrange the attacking/tactical setup to better utilize Origi. A fit Shaqiri will also help.

we badly need keita the game changed as soon as he came on but his injuries are a worry

I also do believe the squad plays an important role here, we've been playing the same 11 most games with a couple of odd changes at the only positions where we can afford it. This isn't going to bode well during the festive period and the run-in.

Next match up against Genk, They scraped a draw against Napoli mostly through poor finishing from the Italian side but Genk did have a go at them in the second half. They've been quite poor in the league and I would not call this a banana skin, nothing compared to playing Salzburg away later on in the tournament.

We also play Spurs 3 days after this.

Team: Trent is out with a virus so I would assume Gomez starts there but maybe we might see Milner as Klopp preserves Gomez for the CB position. Matip out with a Knee injury, pray to all the gods that it isn't bad.

No, no, my friend; you are being naive, if I may say so. It's like saying since you have/could walk 10 km yesterday you can do it again today, and then tomorrow.

Consider this, the squad had a very hectic 2017-18 season, then the WC, then another hectic 2018-19 season, then Copa and CAF, and now this season. Even machines need occasional cooling-off and re-calibrating.

If Origi was used properly and Keita, AOC, Shaqiri and Clyne were fit; then it would have been reasonable.

And between those seasons we bought like 5 new players and Origi was reborn.
We have enough players for this season, even too much for midfield positions. The only problem is cover for fullbacks, but I guess Milner will do good since it's getting a bit crowded in midfield anyway.

I don't want him sold lmao, I want him as no 4 in the CB list as he continues to work his way up. Replace no 3 Lovren with someone new.

So the only changes in the team is Milner at RB as I guessed and Fabinho in with Keita and Oxalade. The front 3 remains, I am excited to see this but I can assume there might be some problems as this midfield will try to do things on their own rather than side passing

I doubt you are a new member of GL or Liverpool section. In last decade or so no new member has joined this Liverpool section.

They've enjoyed themselves as much as us even though the best of their attacks have been offside or would have been offside. Mostly because the two runners are far too high up the pitch and then Lovren and Milner not understanding the backline.

Need another goal to make it better.
