BTW after the first 3 games nobody should be surprised by this.

Apart from a shitty 8 minutes in game 2, Toronto have been the better team throughout.

Obviously if Durant leaves that leaves room for another player, or several players. They don't need more stars, and will be champions again regardless of Durant IMO. Just need to get rid of Cousins.

Raptors have been really really good though. They are so complete, everyone on the starting roster has a job to do, and almost every player is perfect for the job. Add VanVleet's recent form and Ibaka's awakening to that, and they are an amazing unit. None of it would happen if it wasn't for Siakam's breaktrough though, everything just fell perfectly in place for the Raptors this year, starting from firing COTY and hiring Nurse.

Except it doesn't, the salary cap exists and they are maxed out.

They can't add anyone, if Durant leaves the team you see now in these finals are who they will have.

They won't win championships without Durant, anyone who thinks they can is deluded.

They've gone to 3 finals without him have won one of them (this one still going), it's a bit much saying they can't win without him.

No it's not.

They went to 2 finals before he arrived.

When Iggy and Draymond we're in their prime and they had people beyond their starting 5.

When they signed Durant they gave up all their depth, they literally have no offence outside of Klay and Steph and they have no cap room to fix it.

They are 2015 Warriors but older, no depth and no cap flexibility without Durant not to mention the league has gotten better to compete with these Warriors.

They don't have a chance in hell without Durant, using the comparison of what they were before is pretty dumb considering the factors of no depth, ageing players and no cap flexibility to improve it.

Fair enough but even without Durant I feel they still would've made the final they sweeper Portland, Rockets are chokers.

I also fee we were the worst matchup wise especially without Dirant don't think either Bucks or 76ers would've been 3-1 up against them.

We are struggling to find good, consistent offense outside of Steph and Klay, and we have not been consistently our best on defense as we can be... as we should be. The poor defense is really where we have lost these games.

Best we can do from here on in is to just ball out and leave whatever we got left on the floor.

Was thinking of this earlier. Think you guys would have been tough as well, you are young and fast, and we just look tired and tad bit slow at the moment.

If you would have been able to hit your three ball against us, we would probably have been in more or less the same situation. But then again, Giannis is nothing close to Kawhi in terms of pedigree at this level, and I still think that's a notable difference maker.

Biggest key to me is Green has struggled with Siakam in this series except for Game 2.

Siakam is basically a poor mans Giannis lol.

It's tiny margins tbh imo, I can nitpick so many things and say that was the crucial moment that led to that victory in that game.

Game 1 we were just flat plain and simple, but still Gasol and Siakam shouldn't have had those games that they had - we needed to be better prepared. Game 3 how are we ever gunna beat a team with only Steph when they shoot 50/40/90 as a team. Game 4, we cannot allow Ibaka to come up that big. If we half his points total, we win that game.

Overall across the series so far, we have been too soft in their high pick n rolls that have led to easy slips for Gasol and Ibaka. Big credit to them for hitting their threes, but we just keep on giving them to many easy points. And then on the other side of the floor we have been missing tooooo many layups - those small margins count.

And I still believe we have not played up to our potential, but a large part of that goes down to Toronto for not allowing us to settle. I have to say I have been really surprised at how Kawhi's supporting cast has performed at this stage. I thought they would come up short, not even slightly surprised at Kawhi's numbers even when he is limping, but their whole starting five including Ibaka and VanVleet have come up big in moments.
