I guess that's what the psychologists call formative trauma

I'd assume usually it's down to childhood abuse or negligence, violent experiences or such

but apparently having had to live through seeing your favourite football player in fierce competition with another player at a football club, more than decade ago, does the trick too, in rare cases

Man where is this supposed 'hate' that Benzema is receiving? Is saying he's not the indisputable #1 CF in the world right now 'hating'? In my book saying he's less than Lewa and Kane is not 'hating'.

How did he perform outside of that goal? I only saw highlights, but the goal was all Modric from what I could tell.

He was excellent. Won all his duels as usual. Spread the ball really well. Played more like a 10.

Thanks. That's good to hear. I hope he keeps up this form until we get a clinical forward. Even if we won the league last season, I imagine we don't quite have the same appeal to non-Spanish players that we had up until a few years ago.
