In the report of the Man Utd vs Seattle Sounders game, the MLS site claimed that Man Utd had just signed Cole...

"Machester United’s starting lineup was all starters, with the exception of Federico Macheda in for Rooney with Dimitar Berbatov and Chicharito both unavailable.

United fans were excited to see new signing Ashley Cole on United’s left side."

But they immediately edited it, but weaintgotnohistory caught it beforehand. Laughing

So that's what 'operation shoot Wayne Rooney with an air rifle' was all about!

But oh well, not to worry Chelsea fans. We'll just save Marcelo from getting benched and launch a 30m bid for him. After all according to some Madrid fans he's already better than Cole! Laughing
