I prefer Kimmich in midfield to Kimmich at RB too. Very glad this is happening, we wanted Kimmich so badly to be the Lahm successor we tended to overlook his defensive problems in the position.

Typical. We never manage to maintain dominance under Kovac. We play great in patches then let the opponent take over and score. Everytime the same.
OUT.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
In all honesty, Bremen do not deserve to be level at the half (in all honesty they dont deserve to be so high up the table either), but they showed some signs of life and yes, Bayern was allowing them back in the game.
I have not seen a lot of Davies, but I would say, based just on footballing skills, he is an upgrade on Gnarby. Who knows how he will do when it comes to game time. He is very young, but he is a refugee kid, who apparently went through a lot, so he probably is mentally strong?
Meanwhile

Cannot watch this match.
Kovac from day one despite his obvious inexperience is an utter coward in terms of tactical approach.
Needs to go to 1860 Munich and replace Bierofka and figure himself out there.

WTF, Gnarby bungles in another. It is OK, we have the two secret weapons -Harnik and Pizarro- waiting to come on.

Jović is now joint top scorer of bundesliga & europa league
10 games 9 goals 4 assists in bundes , 4 games 3 goals in EL, scoring a goal every 65 mins average
Jović and Rebić are really unstoppable for Eintracht this season, great talents. Let's see if Eintracht can keep this up and secure CL next season because they are on fire this season.

He's a substitute goalscoring wizard without any doubt. Eery, unreal.
He should never start though, he's absolutely no use then.

Looking forward to seeing Jovic in Lederhosen. He's exactly the player we need to challenge Lewandowski if we keep the latter, and Sandro Wagner needs to be kicked out ASAP.

I think he should stay at Eintracht a bit more and develop even more especially if they play CL next season. He's still 20 y/o, he shouldn't move to a top club too soon imo

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
It is Super Klassiker Ruhr Derby week, Yeah!!!! Well, except that Schalke are fighting off relegation and Dortmund are winning the league this season, so maybe not that Super or classic.
The Man is showing the Friday night game here on the Iceberg and I dont feel good about it, I get the feeling Werder's run of good luck is coming to an end. Pizarro is actually starting the game, not sure why Harnik is not. Young American heartthrob Josh Sargent is on the bench, dont think he has played yet this season?

Harnik to the rescue. Werder should be winning by more, but VAR robots gave Dusseldorf a free penalty. I dont like the idea of robots in a cave calling hand balls. They dont play football, they dont need to use their arms for balance, how the hell can they call handballs!
Josh Sargent on for the last 15 minutes. Apparently it is his first appearance for Werder.

It only took the ginger yankee about a minute to score. It was probably going in and all he had to do was tap it into an empty goal, but still, good for him.

Based upon incoming results today, we can safely project that Fortuna will be returning to the second division and HSV and Koln will be returning to the first division.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Schalke-BVB derby is on now
So apparently the reason Alcacer isn't starting this season is because of his fitness and that he hasn't played regular football for 2 seasons, so he can't cope with 90 minutes, and he's been so impactful as a sub ofc. Looks like he is slowly becoming a starter though. I also heard my main man Nastasić has been a rock for Schalke, glad to hear that.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Ht at Schalke and they are showing the odd sign of scoring a counter attack goal, but mostly Dortmund playing the football
Schalke - Dortmund (Sa.) -:- (0:1)
Bayern - Nürnberg -:- (2:0)
I want Bayern to lose or draw more games, but I dont excpect this to be one of those
Freiburg - Leipzig -:- (2:0)
Leipizig are the new Pretenders.
Leverkusen - Augsburg -:- (0:0)
The original Pretenders not doing much better
Wolfsburg - Hoffenheim -:- (2:1)
I expect Hoff to win this 4-3

Sancho to the rescue for Dortmund.
Bayern - Nürnberg 3:0 (2:0)

Leipzig should be doing better, they really are the new Pretenders.
