Lmao I leave the country for a little while, come back and see this
Gonna ask for a crowdfunding to go on a 1 month holiday every 6 months, for Juventus' sake.
Aside from that, I don't care what wages he'd be on or how ridiculous it would look for our finances. This is the move that takes our brand to Madrid - United levels. Ronaldo transcends football and if we piggyback off of that, we're in the sort of position we've been craving for since becoming an 'elite' club again.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo joining Juventus?
By Football Italia staff
The rumours of Juventus talks for Cristiano Ronaldo are gathering steam, particularly in Spain, claiming Real Madrid would release him for €100-120m.
The story first emerged in Tuttosport over the weekend and were largely mocked at the time, but the Spanish media are giving it genuine credence.
His future is indeed in doubt, as in his post-match interview after a third consecutive Champions League victory, his words were: “It has been nice playing for Real Madrid.”
Now Marca and As are confident there is an offer from the Bianconeri and it is under serious consideration.
After all, if Juve were selling players to drum up €150m for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, why not buy the current Ballon d’Or for slightly less?
The main issue sounds like the report of a €30m per year salary, higher than the one offered to him right now by Real Madrid, but which Juve would pay for largely with sponsors.
The effect is already evident, because the Juventus shares have soared on the stock exchange over the last 24 hours and the club’s name is trending worldwide on Twitter.
Marca director Juan Ignacio Gallardo even spoke to Sky Sport Italia and said Real Madrid have an agreement CR7 can leave for €100-120m.
There is even a report in Romanews.eu that the Adidas HQ are already producing Cristiano Ronaldo Juventus jerseys with his Number 7.
Ronaldo has won the Champions League three times in a row with Real Madrid, so could be tempted to change the Bianconeri’s infamous bad luck in this competition, not winning since 1996, despite reaching several finals

HUGE TRANSFER? Real Madrid to ‘accept’ shock €100m Juventus bid for Cristiano Ronaldo
Could the Portuguese talisman be about to leave the Bernabeu?
By Michael Benson
3rd July 2018, 4:44 pm
Real Madrid are reportedly set to accept a shock €100m (£88m) bid from Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito, Los Blancos will wave farewell to their star man this summer, allowing him to switch to Italy and earn a gargantuan salary of €30m (£27m) per year.
It is claimed that this supposed exit for Ronaldo is brought on by him feeling he has reached the end of a “cycle” at the Bernabeu.
The 33-year-old has won two league titles, two domestic cups and four Champions League trophies during his time at the club.
CR7 has also picked up four Ballon d’Or awards while in Madrid, adding to the one he won as a Manchester United player in 2008.
Manager Zinedine Zidane announced that he would be standing down following their third consecutive Champions League win in May.
Should Ronaldo now follow him out of the club, it would bring about a major Madrid overhaul, with Gareth Bale having also expressed discontent at his lack of game time.

Again I don't see it happening but I'd rather get CR7 for 100m and pay him 30m (17 - 18m net) then pay 150m or anything over 100m for SMS.
Pogba was sold for 100m and the hype over him was international and he won and did so much better than SMS.
Tbh anything over 70/80m would be overpaying.

The key is to include dead wood to lower the cost. That's Sturaro's main quality.

Yes but what kind of personality does he bring ? The selfish one ? The personality where he thinks he is bigger than the club ? (He got some arguments for that in all fairness)
It's a whole other charisma than Buffon. I respect Ronaldo for his achievements but he isn't suited for Juventus, and the club isn't suited for him.

O Jogo: Ronaldo wants Juve
By Football Italia staff
Portuguese paper O Jogo now claim Cristiano Ronaldo has said yes to Juventus, amid reports of a €100m release clause in the Real Madrid contract.
The story first emerged in Tuttosport on Saturday night to little fanfare, but has gained significant traction in Spain.
Now Ronaldo’s homeland of Portugal are also giving genuine credence to the reports.
This evening, O Jogo claims with some confidence that Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted a move to Juventus and his rapport with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has broken down definitively.
On top of that, Mediaset Premium suggest agent Jorge Mendes got a special clause in Ronaldo’s contract allowing him to leave for €100m – but it is valid only for clubs in Italy.
The idea of Juve signing CR7 might seem implausible, but the reported €30m salary could be paid largely by sponsors and income from shirt sales.

And here we go, Gianluca Di Marzio...
It's happening boys...
Di Marzio: Ronaldo inviting Juventus
By Football Italia staff
Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio confirms Cristiano Ronaldo has invited Juventus to make an offer to Real Madrid, so they are studying it.
The story first appeared in Tuttosport on Saturday night and has gained considerable traction over the last 24 hours, above all in Spain and Portugal.
Now Di Marzio has also said that the idea came from agent Jorge Mendes – who also represents recent Juve signing Joao Cancelo – and invited the Bianconeri to make an offer.
Juventus sources seemingly confirmed they are thinking about it, but the issue is not the €100-120m transfer fee from Real Madrid, but rather the pay packet he is commanding.
Cristiano Ronaldo wants to earn €30m per year net and with Italian taxes, which are far tougher than in Spain, that would be €60m per year gross.
It is not entirely impossible and Juve are trying to balance the books to see how they can increase revenue to enable that cost.
One step has already been taken, as this summer the club significantly raised the price of a season ticket and this irritated fans.
Sponsors would also contribute to the salary and transfer fee to bring a Ballon d’Or winner to Turin.
This evening, Juventus director general Beppe Marotta said the Ronaldo story was “a suggestion,” but that doesn’t mean it is lacking truth.

Ronaldo says 'yes' to Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to join Juventus after the Italian champions decided to pay the €100 million (£88m/$116m) release clause in his Real Madrid contract, according to O Jogo .
Juventus have analysed the financial aspects of signing the Portugal superstar and, in addition to the fee, are prepared to hand Ronaldo a four-year contract worth €120m (£101m/$140m).
Ronaldo’s relationship with Madrid president Florentino Perez has broken down amid a failure to agree a new contract and the 33-year-old has decided to join Juventus.
Madrid agree €272m Mbappe deal
Real Madrid have agreed a staggering €272 million (£239m/$316m) deal with PSG to sign forward Kylian Mbappe, according to respected French journalist Baptiste Ripart .
The Champions League winners will apparently make four separate payments to the Ligue 1 champions for the France international, who helped send his country through to the World Cup quarter-finals with two goals against Argentina.
Looks like this french journalist is reliable and Real already going for Mbappe aka CR7 no.1 fan.
It's happening folks.

Ronaldo is definitely on. Sponsors will cover the $60 million gross salary. Shirt sales alone may cover it, but the marketing will make Juve the most famous team in the world. As a pure #9 he can play for 4 more years at least, with Costa and Dybala by his side he will get great service. Unlike Higuain Ronaldo is a clinical finisher. The missing piece to this team. Last year we almost beat RM with our average midfield and with Higuain. With Ronaldo, Can, Cancelo and another midfielder we will go to the next level.
Marotta will hold out for Sergej until the end of summer to see where the market is at. The Ronaldo deal will happen first. If Sergej is still at Lazio in August then Marotta may go back for a deal. Otherwise we will look at other options.
The sales of Higuain, Pjaca, Sturaro, Mandragora, Audero, Favilli, Cerri, Rugani and Kean will raise over $200 million, more than enough to cover the transfer fee of Ronaldo, De Ligt, a backup left back and another midfielder.

Kit deals are not traditional sponsorship deals – they are licensing deals, which enable the kit manufacturers to use the club’s brand to sell branded apparel. Clubs will traditionally receive an annual fee – for example, Manchester United receives £75 million per year from Adidas, Chelsea receives an initial £60 million per year from Nike, and Arsenal receives £30 million per year from Puma – and then 10-15% of the revenue the kit manufacturer generates from shirt sales.

And I'll leave this here...
Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta responds “no comment” when asked about the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo joining from Real Madrid.
There have been rumours in recent days that the Portuguese superstar could join the Bianconeri in a €100m deal, signing a €30m per season contract.
Today Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici are in Milan, and the former was spotted by reporters in the city centre.
He was asked if Juve fans could dream of Ronaldo, but the director simply smiled and replied “no comment”.
The great man smiled and said no comment. Done deal for me. E fatta!

Hope clubs including Juve hold firm over SMS
This players achieving nothing getting sold for 9 figure sums is surely not sustainable. The bubble has to burst. Anything over 80M for him is robbery even in todays disgusting market.
Lazio couldn't even make the CL, and he has done nothing of note in the World cup. Not particularly his fault but there's zero reason for him to get hyped a la James getting the golden boot or his club team overachieving (They haven't)

From Spain: Juventus ready for Ronaldo medical
cristiano ronaldo, real madrid, rigore, juventus, 2017/18
04 July at 16:20
https://www.ilbianconero.com/a/ronaldo-juve-in-spagna-si-parla-gia-di-visite-mediche-33973
Juventus are in advanced talks to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and, right now, it’s very hard to make your way through all the reports coming from every corner of the world.
According to El Chiringuito de Jugones on La Sexta Juventus are already preparing to welcome Cristiano Ronaldo for his medical tests as Real Madrid will agree to sell the player for € 100 million.
The same media, however, had claimed yesterday that Juventus’ € 100 million bid had already been accepted by the Merengues.
One thing that can be taken for granted is that Juventus want the former Manchester United star and are in talks to sign him. Calciomercato.com exclusively reported this morning that the Portuguese ace would be open to move to the Allianz Stadium although no agreement has yet been reached with Real Madrid.
Juve are planning to offer Ronaldo a € 30-million-a-year deal for the next four seasons and right now the club’s chiefs are calculating what kind of impact and what benefits this operation will have for the Old Lady.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
Let's calm down for a minute. Yes the deal might not be there yet but there is nothing to deny there is something going on. I first thought it was just a strategy to raise CR7's wage one final time but all the biggest medias worldwide are reporting it so there is definetly an offer from our side.
My only concern would be involving one of our own stars in this (Dybala,Pjanic mostly). I simply can't believe Real are willing to let go Cristiano so easily. Yes he is 33 year old but he still can deliver at least 2 years on high levels plus he's the highest profile of player when it comes to marketing.
Imo if we truly are working on a deal then this must be a golden opportunity our management is ready to jump.
Could be that CR7 relations with Perez are badly broken and we will get assistance from Exor and/or Adidas to make this happen. idk.
But I don't think we are being used for Ronaldo's wage interests. Beppe would have denied everything in a short sentence but he chose to say "no comment" and smile.Exactly what he did before he went to trigger Higuain's release clause.

Only two players can man for man replace Ronaldo the way I see it
Neymar or Mbappe.
I'd be shocked if they didn't get Mbappe.
They have zero need for a Dybala type player, and their midfield is too stacked.

Age + Wages.
SMS will never earn half of what Ronaldo will over a season.
Plus, as funny as it sounds, there's really not many possible destinations for Ronaldo
Barca - No
Bayern - No. Don't see them breaking their strict money structure, and AFAIK Ronaldo has zero intention of playing in Germany.
United - Too big a step down + Mourinho. He'd be killing off his own career early if he went there. Maybe when he's 35.
PSG - FFP wouldn't entertain that. They barely got Mbappe.
Any other PL club - I doubt he'd go anywhere but United if he does return.
Glasgow rangers - Possible.

Yep although they (Real) could potentialy do business with PSG and take 1 off Neymar or Mbappe and offer CR7 plus cash. But I'm pretty sure Ronaldo's ego would't allow him to get in any deal involving a swap with his future replacement. (or any other player in general unless it's Sturaro)
