Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
I'd prefer Alex Sandro to stay over Marcelo but not last year Sandro. If he wants to leave then we must sell and try to bring Marcelo. I wouldn't mind spending less from the cash we get from Sandro's sale on a talented and younger player (Grimaldo,Telles,Guerreiro etc.) . If we're also going to reinforce the midfield would be faptastic.

Fresh talks between Juventus and Chelsea over the transfer of Daniele Rugani could take place this week, according to reports.
The Blues, who finally appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new Coach yesterday, have been linked with the Old Lady defender throughout the summer.
The former Napoli boss is said to have a number of Serie A targets lined up for his new team, including Rugani’s teammate Gonzalo Higuain and Roma’s Alisson.
And transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla claims that Chelsea and Juve were in contact yesterday evening over a deal for centre-back Rugani.
According to the journalist’s website, a face-to-face meeting could now take place between representatives of the two clubs during the week.
Juventus are rumoured to value Rugani at around the €45m mark.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
Higuain and Rugani can fetch us ~100m € which would totally cover Ronaldo's transfer fee and leave us with another 50m to spend since Ronaldo's free will be payed in two financial years.
That plus some cash from players like Cerri,Mandragora,Audero and probably Sturaro and maybe Marchisio leaving surely means we can bring another quality midfielder.
SMS can be reached I guess. Since we are also paying Cancelo and Perin in like 3 yearly payments.
Rumors say Pogba may have a 60m release clause in case he wants to return.
Meanwhile Sandro's situation seems to be all set. If he stays we'll raise his wage and if not he'll generate atleast ~50m which is enough to bring us Marcelo or some other good LB.
This transfer season has already been great and will be even better folks.
As long as only Higgy and Rugani leave from our useful players we'll have an amazing team next year.So much quality and depth that Allegri will have it difficult to come up with whom to play.
I expect intense rotation strategy.

Juventus receive boost as Atletico identify Godin replacement
15 July at 12:15
La Liga giants Atletico Madrid could allow Diego Godin to leave this summer as they look to sign Arsenal target and Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu.
Godin has drawn links with a move to the bianconeri over the last few months and with Daniele Rugani set to leave Juventus this summer and so too Medhi Benatia, Juventus want to sign a top-quality defender. And feel Godin is their man.
Tuttosport say that Godin has a 20 million release clause in his current deal and know that Juventus would be fine to pay it. Because of that, the Los Rojiblancos have identified Soyuncu as a summer target and have already made contact for the defender.
Soyuncu is also an Arsenal target and impressed for Freiburg last season, appearing 26 times in the Bundesliga.
Rugani is widely expected to join Chelsea this summer, with Maurizio Sarri now in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Viola hit Pjaca stumbling block
By Football Italia staff
Fiorentina are reportedly still pursuing the signing of Marko Pjaca from Juventus, although negotiations have hit a stumbling block.
The 23-year-old appears to be keen on a move to the Florence club, with personal terms already said to be agreed with the Viola.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the two clubs cannot agree on the nature of the transfer.
According to the Italian daily, Fiorentina want to sign the Croatian on an initial loan deal with the option to sign him permanently next summer.
Juve, meanwhile, are insisting that the Artemio Franchi club commit to an outright obligation to buy the midfielder one year from now.
Fiorentina are thought to be reluctant to do this due to doubts over Pjaca’s physical condition.
He returned from a long term knee ligament injury last November, but made just nine appearances during a loan spell at German club Schalke during the second half of last season.

Exclusive: Juventus make initial contact for Real Madrid star
15 July at 10:10
CalcioMercato exclusively understand that Serie A giants Juventus have made initial contact to sign Real Madrid full-back Marcelo.
As we had learnt some days ago that Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks for Alex Sandro and have made an offer of about 40 million euros, the former Porto man is expected to leave this summer. Manchester United have drawn links with the player, but PSG seem like his likely destination.
It has been exclusively learnt by CalcioMercato that Juventus see Marcelo as a replacement for Alex Sandro and have made initial enquiries for the player already. Their signing of Cristiano Ronaldo this summer has made them believe that they can sign top-class players.
It is believed that Real Madrid could consider selling Marcelo, if the right offer arrives and the Brazilian is one of Cristiano Ronaldo's best friends in football, with their friendship already well documented.
Offers of about 40 to 60 million euros could be enough for Marcelo and despite initial enquiries, Juventus are likely to sell some of their midfielders and Gonzalo Higuain before making a concrete offer.

Juventus reject Higuain for Morata swap
JULY 15, 2018
Juventus have reportedly rejected a swap deal that would see Gonzalo Higuain head to Chelsea in exchange for Alvaro Morata.
Following the recent appointment of Maurizio Sarri as new Chelsea coach, reports in Italy, primarily from Sportitalia, have speculated that the ex-Napoli boss is keen on a reunion with I Pipita at Stamford Bridge.
As well as signing the Partenopei coach, Chelsea secured midfielder Jorghinho in a £50m deal which puts them firmly in the race for the title and you can get the best betting odds from William Hill free bets for the title race 2018/19.
Now attention has reportedly turned to the attacking options and rumours have continued in Italy and in the UK on Higuain teaming up with Sarri once again following their very successful stint together in Naples.
La Stampa report that Higuain is at a complex point in his career and with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, his starting role in the team will be compromised.
The report suggests that Juventus want to make cash from his sale and have rejected an initial offer from Chelsea involving a player exchange involving Morata moving to Turin and Higuain to Chelsea.
Juve hope to raise at least €60m from Higuain’s sale and above all, i will take patience and diplomacy to find the right agreement with Chelsea.

Giroud and Morata out for Higuain
By Football Italia staff
Maurizio Sarri is reportedly prepared to sell Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata to get Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.
Higuain broke the all-time Serie A record for goals in a single season when at Sarri’s Napoli in 2015-16 and the pair never disguised their desire to work together again.
Now that Sarri and Jorginho are at Stamford Bridge, a reunion is on the cards, but Juve want €60m for the Argentina international.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea are prepared to cash in on both Giroud and Morata in order to get Higuain at Stamford Bridge.
Giroud is frustratingly inconsistent and has only 12 months left on his contract.
Morata would be proposed to Juve in part-exchange for Higuain, but Italian media suggest the Bianconeri only want cash for Pipita.
They have just spent €100m on Cristiano Ronaldo and Higuain is no longer required in Turin.
It would be a return to the Bianconeri for Morata, who spent two years there on loan from Real Madrid.

Alex Sandro to PSG, Marcelo to Juventus
JULY 15, 2018
Reports suggest that Alex Sandro could join Paris Saint-Germain while Juventus are still very keen on signing Real Madrid left-back, Marcelo.
According to Paris United, Sandro already has an agreement in principle with the French champions, leaving PSG free to negotiate a fee with Juventus.
The Bianconeri reportedly value the left-back at €50m and there’s still potential for late offers from Manchester United or Manchester City.
The departure of Sandro could free up cash that would directly reinvested in Real Madrid’s Marcelo, who has made recently mentioned he hopes to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo in the future.
Corriere Dello Sport, Sport Italia and others all report that despite the large fees involved, Juventus are very keen on the Brazilian left-back.

Rugani's agent: It must be remembered that Juventus didn’t accept any negotiations in the past, neither with Napoli nor with any other team, and they’ve always shown willingness to keep the player. That will hasn’t changed.

Of course Juve wasn't willing to discuss with Napoli. You can bet your shoes that we never sell Rugani to a rival.
But Chelsea, at 40 millions ? It's worth considering cause one of Rugani/Caldara will lose a season of development if we keep both. They remain 3rd/4th in the pecking order currently.
Best option would be a loan without buy clause, and after 1 season in the physical Premier League they evaluate his progression.

Chelsea are not some relegation threatened team to do a deal like that though. They are a top club. Either they overpay or he stays with us.

A Spanish journalist reports that Zinedine Zidane will take up a role as assistant sporting director at Juventus in October.
The Frenchman is currently out of work after leaving his position as Real Madrid Coach, having won the Champions League in each of his three seasons.
There have been suggestions he could manage Qatar at the 2022 World Cup, while the France job appears to be out of the question after Didier Deschamps guided Les Bleus to the World Cup.
Now Libertad Digital, citing journalist Juanma Rodríguez, reports that Zizou will take up a role with Juventus.
The former midfielder played for the Bianconeri, and it’s claimed he’ll work alongside sporting director Fabio Paratici.
Rodriguez then explained on Twitter that his source is “someone very close to the Agnelli family”, and that Zidane won’t take up the role until October to avoid pouring salt into Madrid wounds after Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Juve.
Zizou played over 200 games for the Old Lady, winning two Scudetti and being awarded the Ballon d'Or in 1998

Or regardless of what happens , Allegri might want to leave and seek a new challenge. Honestly if true, Zidane could be coaching us in a year or two. I don't necessarily think there would be pressure on Allegri just because of the arrival of a guy like Zidane who'd be taking a different role altogether as its been reported. Having said that, Allegri is the best man for Juventus and I hope to see him manage Juve for many more years if possible..

Diego Godin has reportedly said yes to Juventus, but Atletico Madrid responded by offering him the same terms with a new contract.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Uruguay international defender is open to joining Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin this season, as the Old Lady make a definitive push for Champions League glory.
He has seemingly agreed personal terms on a three-year contract, by which point Godin would be 35 years old.
Atletico Madrid are determined to keep hold of him and along with a very high transfer fee to put Juventus off, are also ready to match these terms with a contract extension to June 2021.
Godin has been an Atleti star since 2010 and his current contract is due to expire next summer.

With Godin we'll have 2 of world's best defenders in him and Chiellini. What a fantastic duo Godin - Chiellini would be.
Idk if we'll sell Benatia if we sign Godin (very likely) or we are replacing Rugani with him.
Ofc Godin would be first choice even if Benatia stays.
Also looks like Sandro is heading to PSG for ~50m € and we are replacing him with Darmian lol.
It would be ok if we bring a top midfielder but if we only bring Darmian for Sandro and close mercato then it will be a big downgrade.

Reports continue to circulate that Juventus have an agreement with Diego Godin, but Atletico Madrid won’t let him go for less than his €20m release clause.
It was reported last night that there was a basic agreement with the centre-back on a three-year contract, with Atleti offering the same terms to convince him to stay.
Now La Stampa is backing those reports, stating that Godin has agreed a contract worth €4m per season.
However, Atletico have made it clear that any suitor will have to pay the Uruguayan’s €20m release clause, despite the fact his contract expires in June.
_____
Let's do it ffs.
Godin is a big improvement over Benatia whom we can sell for around 15m.
So far Rugani & Higuain are surely leaving for a combined 100m
Also Alex Sandro seems to be heading to PSG ~50m
IN : Godin (20) , Darmian (~18) + Pogba/SMS.
What do you guys think?
Darmian for Sandro would weaken our LB position but if we somehow bring one between Pogba or SMS our midfield becomes one of the best in the world.

I wish we weren't replacing Rugani, but Benatia with Godin. If we make these moves we will be making our defense even older.
Barzagli 37
Chiellini 34
Godin 32
Benatia 31
...
Caldara 24
I like having experienced CBs but not 4 of them. This will leave us wanting a younger CB in 2 seasons max. Its going all in for the next 2 seasons while sacrificing the future.
Sell Alex Sandro. He played like shit and we offered him a bigger contract, we signed Ronaldo, we are going for it all, and he STILL seems to want to leave. We have Cancelo anyway. Sell. If a player is this unmotivated to play for Juve then he should not play for us anyway. He needs to have his head straight if he is gonna stay.
A defensive LB would be nice. We arelady have (ultra-) attacking LWs and an attacking RB. Balance is good.
