Argentina are the clear underdog here. I think this 'status' would suit them going into this game IMO. All the pressure is on France.

Playing a big team like Argentina so early in the world cup is not ideal for them especially when they have barely managed to look good so far.

Let's be honest here the most pressure will always been on Messi lol.

This is what the Knockout Stage is all about.... No one wants Cinderella teams vs the big boys.

Honestly, as far as draws go, it's good for France.  A team that attacks rather recklessly with a very meh midfield and not great defense. Goalkeeping is nothing to write home about either.

France basically hasn't even played past 2nd gear and cruised in pool play.

We're not playing attractive football.  But we're extremely organized and tough on defense.  Only conceded one goal in the tournament and haven't allowed a whole lot of shots against us.

I like our chances.  We win this one.  Argentina just doesn't scare me at all... not even Messi.

Once Argentina finds the right players in attack to play alongside Messi then Argentina have a chance for sure.
Dybala is a must , idk how but he must play over Meza.
