Courtois was even younger when he was being hyped at Atletico and turned out to be good but not elite. It's the young GK like that who you are always skeptical of, by the time at GK is like 28-30 years old you know if he is truly world class IMO.

what stats exactly? genuinely curious if he has broken GK records unrelated to Simeone PTB tactics, like most saves etc

with De Gea you can see he is making an absurd amount of saves statistically.

Nick and Hans's bias against De Gea is hilarious. He's had a match like Oblak did tonight a couple of times this season.

Anyway I still think that De Gea is the best GK in the world tbh
