The Barcelona Consistency Appreciation Thread

Seeing Madrid's downfall in La Liga right now made me think about Barca's dominance of the past decade.

Since 2008 (last 10 seasons) Barca's point tallies in La Liga were:

87 (Champions)
99 (Champions)
96 (Champions)
91 (2nd)
100 (Champions)
87 (2nd, robben on the last day)
94 (Champions)
91 (Champions)
90 (2nd)
And current season running away with the league towards ~100 points

That's 7 of the last 10 league titles and the other 3 times we were still competing until the last day.

Madrid on the other hand have surrendered by December several times, noteably in 12/13 and now.

Please let us all take a minute and appreciate such unprecented dominance in a competitive elite league.

With fair refs it would've been ten titles in a row. 11-12 refs denied 10 at least 50/50 penalties in a row from Barca. 13-14 Atletico won with Messi onside goal called offside, and last year, lmao, I mean 1 meter inside goals ruled outside.

Every Uefadrid title the past decade is fake, well maybe not the 10-11 Copa, but I would have to analyze it with my loop.

You can talk about consistency when Barcelona keeps dominating the league long after Messi hangs up his boots. But as of now, it's really hard to talk about it, especially when you happen to have a player who could make freaking Leeds title contenders.
