Watch us lose today when both Valencia and Atleti have given us a golden chance to catch up to them

How the mighty have fallen! It seems like only yesterday when we used to play for the league and go neck and neck with Barcelona until the very last day.
Now, we're trying to catch up to Valencia to secure a top four finish

^ Why the lies? Since when Messi had toned arms and biceps? Or any muscle definition for that matter?

Messi completed 12 dribbles, more than anybody in Liga in three years.

Spain's footballers' union say a deal which has seen nine players from Saudi Arabia join Spanish clubs on loan sacrifices "the essence of this sport".
On Sunday, six first and second division teams signed nine players on loan from teams in Saudi Arabia.
"This new business model prioritises the economic aspect over the sporting one," said Spain's footballers' union (AFE).
La Liga sides Villarreal, Levante and Leganes have signed one player each.
The deal is between the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Arabian Football federation and La Liga.
Villarreal have signed Salmam Al Dawsari, 26, from Al Hilal, while 23-year-old Fahad Al Muwallad has joined Levante from Al Ittihad. Leganes have also taken Yahia Al Shehri, 27, on loan from Al Nasr.
"This agreement impedes the development of young footballers and represents an obstacle to the opportunities for the youth academy, which isn't always accorded this type of opportunity," added the AFE.
Saudi Arabia will make their first World Cup appearance in 12 years in the summer in Group A alongside hosts Russia, Uruguay and Egypt.
"Football is the most popular sport in Saudi Arabia. Along with the Saudi football federation we are committed to give the youth the chance to achieve their objectives and play football at the highest level possible," said Turky Al Al Sheikh, chairman of the General Sport Authority of Saudi Arabia.
Re: La Liga Discussion 2017/18 part 3
a good move if done right, with how cash strapped the league is especially some of those teams, they better welcome any economic model. i don't think it affects youth, if the youngsters are good they'll get their chance, no freebies.

Who are these scrubs Madrid field day in day out...and they wonder why they are in this state?
Literally every big team strengthened in January, even those which already spent millions and millions in the summer. Yet Madrid are the quietest team in the transfer market despite being in need the most

Ok, this is not good for Barca as well. WTF we need a strong RM to make things more interesting. Not that I do not enjoy seeing RM suffer, but right now I kind of feel bad to engage in banter against them.
As for transfer, I can only assume they are saving money to get Neymar. I do not see any other logical reason behind this passive transfer state.

I can't recall a time since i started following football seriously that Madrid have lost this many games in half a season. It feels surreal
