Nah we just don't think someone whose shooting percentages, points per game, assists etc etc that are down across the board is deserving of MVP consideration.

Nobody who averages 22-5-3 will ever win MVP.

Fantastic, we look really good when he's on the floor.

My biggest issue with us right now is our 1-3 line up is far too small, for some reason Gentry thinks because we have Cousins and AD the Point Guard-Shooting Guard-Small Forward we can run out really tiny line ups.

But when Cousins or AD goes to the bench they put out bigger wings Laughing

It's utterly baffling, Rondo and Jrue is fine but their needs to be a legitimate small forward out there with them. This Rondo-Jrue-Moore line ups need to die a death.

The overall statline shouldn't be paramount anyway.

It certainly will go up and he could very well be in the conversation later on

The overall stat line is almost always paramount, in fact, is there a time it wasn't? Maybe Steve Nash winning over Kobe those years ago but a different comparison

It's always paramount, the only ones i can think of in recent history who didn't have a ridiculous stat line was Rose and Steph's first MVP.

But those two had ridiculous impact that as of now Kyrie hasn't shown and had a ridiculous amount of wins ( although this part Celtics might achieve)

I don't want to put Kyrie down, i think he's fantastic but the reality is Boston are 20th in offence and winning games mainly due to their defence.

It's not like he's absolutely carrying them like Westbrook did with OKC and Harden with Houston.

^ or even more than IT did last season, and I don't even like IT, we just can't deny that he had an incredible season and Boston finished as the top seed without the ridiculous play of Brown, Tatum and Horford

Not crediting Kyrie is more of a sign of respect to Boston and Stephens, they've been tremendous as a group

Yeah when i watch Celtics, if they are blowing a team out then Horford and Brown ( sometimes Tatum) keep them in the game or slightly ahead and then Kyrie takes over in the 4th.

Marcus Smart despite not starting has a massive impact on games too.

Well hard for one would be hard for the other...think it would add a managerial aspect to it. For example some nights you would have to select between two players as opposed to having everyone on your roster playing. Also would give the utility positions more meaning.

Kyrie's been great and his defense especially has been a pleasant surprise. But Horford's been our MVP so far and has to be a top 3 DPOY candidate in the league at this point.
