By no means hate on Markennen. Feel like they’re really similar in style and lack of elite anything physically. Anderson was an incredible role player. Better than that is something anyone should be happy with.
The Dirk comparison was always so far off. Dirk was way more athletic and overall skilled.

Oladipo is quickly becoming one of my favourite players, he's really benefited from the trade to the Pacers (who are borderline legit themselves)
I'm watching the Magic vs. Pacers, two of the most fun teams this season in my opinion

Really good win all things considered, now hopefully Denver will lose to help us out some more.
I doubt they will though.

No Giannis? LeBron over Curry too, quite easily
Mine would be:
1. Harden
2. LeBron
3. Giannis

Have a problem with Giannis tbh. Bucks are not even a playoff team atm and there are people with similar overall production with more wins.
Harden is clearly #1 though, leads the NBA in points and Assists and Rockets are #1 in the West and this is largely without Chris Paul.

That's fair, given that the MVP award will never go to a player on a non-playoff or barely a playoff team but I expect the Bucks to pick it up and Giannis, again, is leading them in just about every major category
I just couldn't really pick a #3

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Considering we actually are a playoff team in a much tougher conference and considering their numbers are similar i'd rather give it to Davis or Cousins than Giannis tbh.
Biased as hell but i feel the reasons are legitimate but realistically it's Harden, one of Golden States former MVPs and Lebron.
Celtic's record is largely to do with Brad Stevens tbh.

The problem is how do you decide between Cousins and Davis? I feel like it’ll divide people and for that reason alone, it’s tough to see it ending up there
As for Golden State, they have 4 MVPs, it won’t end up there either in my opinion

LeBron
Harden
Curry
Durant
Giannis
As much as I LOVE the beard, LeBron is still #1. No Kawhi because of his fitness in case anyone’s wondering. Didn’t want to go further than top 5 because it gets tricky.

Not with that record he isn't plus Harden has better stats.
I don't get the case for Lebron tbh, his team are underperforming and there are players with better individual numbers and better team success.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Basically my entire argument that Mole has brought up.
Who have the best records in the league? Celtics, Rockets and Warriors. Hence, me going with Kyrie, Harden and Steph.
You can't say it's all down to Brad Stevens, when Kyrie has been shaking defenders more than ever, getting his teammates good shots, and hitting the same scoring stats he has been his whole career. Without him, Celtics are nowhere near this record they have at the moment.
Harden is self-explanatory.
And if you've been watching Dubs games its pretty clear to see who the best player has been for them so far. Steph's efficiency has been incredible. His +/-s in games this season is better than ever in a start to a season if I'm not mistaken. Durant has been efficient as always, and has made some pretty important shots at important times, he is the go to guy indeed, but he hasn't really hit his stride yet like we know we can. He has looked off here and there, not as locked in as Steph, Klay and Draymond.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I actually can because no matter what happens they win.
Kyrie doesn't play against Toronto? win.
Horford doesn't play due to concussion? win
Hayward is out for the season? win.
This is clearly down to great coaching, hell Kyrie's numbers are down across the board and in terms of overall impact he's not even the most impactful player on his team right now.
He produces the highlights but the reality is why they are winning? it's almost all defence and when you watch the games it becomes clear the players who making the key plays are Horford and Brown.
Which like i said = Great coaching, this is like the Spurs last year except Kawhi Leonard isn't legitimately putting up amazing numbers.
Unless something changes, no Celtic player deserves MVP.

Not taking anythin away from Stevens' coaching, but I have to disagree with you.
If Celtics keep on winning like this, Kyrie's name will be right there at the top of the mention come the end of the season. And as the team leader, and his clutch shooting in closing moments of the game and among other reasons as well, that really isn't that difficult to understand imo.

Kyrie hasn’t even been Boston’s most important player.
Horford takes that.
Brad Stephens is the real star though. Incredible coach.

Great post and I completely agree.
Sorry for bringing up LeBron again but that’s exactly why I put him as my #1, he’s averaging great numbers while playing in an incredibly poorly coached team while having Kevin Love as your best fit teammate.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Not to mention, Kyrie ain't doing anything that IT didn't do last season. Lets not forget that his Celtics team was 53-29, the top seed in the East and he didn't have the play of Jaylen this season, the best Horford or Jayson Tatum... IT averaged 29/6/2, Kyrie is 22/5/3
That's like me saying DeMar should be MVP, he's averaging 25/5/5, playing some of the best basketball of his career defensively and in terms of efficiency and he was even named player of the week by the NBA this past week, just not going to happen.
Kyrie is great and he could be in the MVP conversation later down the line but right now there's a handful of players easily ahead of him including LeBron and Harden, and it basically starts and ends there.
Brad Stephens already won coach of the year and he deserves it too

Giannis isn't top 3 atm, he was but he's cooled off a bit and Bucks are playing like shit
As soon as Kidd is fired he'll go back to being MVP. Can't believe how much this team is being held back right now. I think the worst in 3 point defense right now and that's even with the incredible length the Bucks have. Every offensive bucket that isn't transition is a grind to get, because there is no movement, no ideas, no nothing. Kidd is shocking.
Bucks will improve over the season though. Being .500 while playing pretty much as badly as possible bodes good things for the Bucks
